I expect a lot of people to give you bad rep for posting this, but honestly, I agree. After VLV, they've seemed lost artistically. I liked GS for what it was, but I'm not sure how much longer I can defend the band if this is what they are now. I wouldn't even be able to tell this was Coldplay if I didn't recognize Chris Martin's voice, that's sad to me because they once made some great unique music.

In no particular order with the exception of Amsterdam. 1. Amsterdam 2. Warning Sign (Don't know why I love this one so much, always have) 3. Fix You 4. Viva La Vida 5. Up in Flames Subject to change at any time. Top 5s are always hard for me to do.

This version is so much better than the studio version. The piano version is really a beautiful song. The studio version though, the instrumental is just far too loud and drowns out Thom's vocals. Thom is always amazing live. I would love more songs with a soft piano like this.

Does anyone else besides me want an album full of groovy/funky tracks like Step 15 and Lotus Flower? I love that style of Radiohead. I also wouldn't mind more haunting tracks like Videotape, a really amazing song. Hopefully they start working on something new soon. Their music takes to me to a whole other world, I can't think of any other band/music artist that does that.

I suspect that they're working on something huge and grand, and released GS to hold us over until then. It'd fit with the whole new album supposedly coming next year. I feel like GS is a sort of low-key release for them and it really feels like an album made for themselves. I can definitely see the next album being something huge, even more so than MX, something they'd play at a packed stadium.

These 2 bonus tracks are better than anything on Ghost Stories except O, for me. Well, at least I have 3 new tracks that I like. Still a bit disappointing though considering I'll still have to wait a year or more until the next album.

This, people need to understand not everyone is going to like what you like. This album certainly doesn't appeal to everyone, and I can see why it's ranked the lowest. I personally rank it the lowest myself, it's not a bad album, it's just not for me at all. It doesn't really appeal to me whatsoever like their other albums. In fact, it's pretty forgettable to me. I've already stopped listening to it, and that's never happened to me before with a Coldplay album. I'll still be listening to ARoBtTH and Viva 10 years from now, this I won't. Hopefully their next album will appeal to me more. Until then, it looks like I'm just going to have to go back to ARoBtTH and Viva for the 1000th time. Still, with that said I have to say O is a beautiful song and is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It'll probably be the only one I'll still listen to.

Good for you if you think it's genius, but I'm not a blind fanboy who calls it a great solo or one of his best guitar work. My opinion should not matter to you at all, if I think it sounds like shit then so what? It's called opinions, search up what it means before you go replying to me with that typical blind fan attitude who thinks they have to defend their favorite bands against anyone who says anything even remotely negative. It's pretty pathetic. Then again this is a Coldplay forum, I really shouldn't be surprised by that at all.

I give every round to Viva except for round 9. This is easily their worst album to me, and Viva is better in every way I can think of. A pretty disappointing album for me.

No, I agree. It feels really out of place and not to mention that was probably the shittiest solo I've ever heard if that even counts as a solo. I'm sorry, but it really does sound like shit. Really turns the song from good to shit.

1. Always In My Head (7/10) My problem with this song is that it's not bad, it's just not really for me. 2. Magic (7.5) This one is your typical pop song, nothing bad nothing great. A nice song. 3. Ink (7.5/10) Not bad, was expecting a little more out of it, but it's a nice song. One that'll I find myself liking more each listen. 4. True Love (8/10) This one's nice, but I can't really find any words for it. I like it though. 5. Midnight (8.5/10) One of my favorites of the album, I love the eerie and mysterious feel to it. 6. Another's Arms (7.5/10) I liked this song since the first time I heard the live version, but I think I like the live version better. I don't like the effects and filters put on Chris's voice. 7. Oceans (7/10) It's ok, it doesn't really go anywhere and is a bit too boring for me. 8. A Sky Full of Stars (5/10) Typical EDM/pop song, it's not for me. I just don't like it. 9. O (10/10) Easily one of my favorite Coldplay songs already. Such a nice song. Overall, this is probably my least favorite Coldplay album, that doesn't mean it's bad though. It's still a good album, it's just a little weak.

I like this track, but I think I prefer the live version more. I was a little disappointed after hearing the effects and filters put on Chris's voice. The live version Chris sounds clearer and a bit more powerful, especially the "Got to pull yourself into me, Another's Arms, Another's Arms" part.

I have no doubt that this album will debut at #1 and sell several 100k copies in a week. However, with that said I still think it'll be their least successful album to date. I also don't think it'll be their highest rated album ether, but we'll see.

So there was a bit of the song on Youtube, but the user deleted it? A shame, I never got to listen to it. Why bother uploading it in the first place if you're just going to delete it? It's the same damn case as ASFOS. Ether upload it for good or don't bother.

Wonder if it will be an entirely new track or one of the bonus songs off the target release. If it's a new track that'd be awesome! We'd get 13 new songs total which would shut most up about the whole not enough songs thing.
