  1. AROBTTH - 12 Clocks - 10 Midnight - 8
  2. If any Coldplayers happen to live in the capital city of their respective country, I feel like it would be a good idea to look out for new posters in the next few days. Of course don't go on a mad search that gets in the way of daily activities, but still keep an eye out. I also have a hunch that New Delhi is one of the cities that will get a few posters (because of this era's Indian connection).
  3. There are too many album posters popping up for me to not think that a release is imminent. For once, this is something other than a sketchy "source" or a copied and pasted "news" article.
  4. Yellow Is this round still in progress? I thought it ended a couple of days ago which is why I haven't voted.
  5. I posted a thread about this almost exactly a year ago: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/threads/103369-Has-anybody-else-noticed-this Read the 13th post on the 1st page, by a user called KaeEm. In the picture, there are a bunch of rings with lyrics and the unused line is on the very top.
  6. Foo Fighters - All My Life
  7. Mr. Writer - Stereophonics
  8. It is possible that those lines are from separate songs so they may or may not be from the new single. I do wonder if they will all appear on the album because a few lyrics hidden on the MX cover never showed up on the album (like "golden arrow"). There's also a hidden lyric on the GS cover that was never used in the final product. It goes something like this: "In all of time, in all space Another time in another place"
  9. Things I Don't Understand - 12 Moving to Mars - 10 AROBTTH - 8
  10. Whenever I watch the official Clocks video or a live version on YouTube, I always see the comment "Vomitando por manis." I kept wondering why the hell people were talking about vomiting for peanuts in Spanish until I realized that the lyric "Brought me down upon my knees" sounds quite a lot like "Vomitando por manis." Oh Chris, why must you write lyrics that can easily be misheard as strange and disgusting phrases? :P By the way... This is my 1,000th post! Yay!
  11. In 2007, they posted a weird video where Chris' hands spelled out "Viva" so this kind of planning ahead is nothing new.
  12. Agreed. If you consider both the True Love video and the fact that AHFOD was revealed exactly a year prior to its release, I think a whole lot was planned more than a year ahead of time.
  13. I haven't noticed that, interesting... I have noticed that the font at the end of the video is the same, though.
  14. Ever since I first heard Amazing Day, I've felt like the album's themes are going to be a little like U2's Beautiful Day. I am especially reminded of the line in Beautiful Day "After the flood all the colors came out." That part of the song relates a lot to how AHFOD is supposed to be the bright, colorful day after GS's dark night. The whole song is about someone who has lost it all yet goes on living because of the joy of being alive. I have a feeling AHFOD as a whole will have a similar theme.
  15. So, I guess it's time that I tell you all about something that happened yesterday... it's nowhere near as secretive as what happened after Chris' appearance in New York on September 24, but I suppose it is similar. As some of you may know, Chris has been in Los Angeles. He spoke yesterday at UCLA's Neurosurgery Visionary Ball. UCLA happens to be where a relative of mine works. She attended the event and managed to track down Chris a little while afterwards. She is more of a casual Coldplay fan, but she still enjoys their music. Anyways, she figured that even though Coldplay are not her favorite band in the world, she would still try to get an autograph. She casually asked him if a new Coldplay song or album is coming soon. Now remember she is only a casual fan, so she isn't quite aware of all the drama in the fanbase over the lack of news. :D Chris winked and replied, "Don't worry, you won't have to wait too long. I hope you enjoy our new album when you do get to hear it!" :happy2:
  16. Yay! Moving to Mars - 12 Aiko - 10 Things I Don't Understand - 8 Edit: Oh, I just realized that only 2 people voted before me, not 3. If you don't want to count this set of votes, you don't have to. I won't be offended, it was my mistake.
  17. I'm at the point where I'm so tired of the double posts that sometimes I don't even bother editing the second post anymore. Maybe I need to ride down to the river where Victorian ghosts pray for their curses to be broken. :wink2: Because I'm cursed as well (with double posts). Anyways, hello anyone??? There is still one day left for you to cast your votes!
  18. Thank you! :) Similar to what @atlas2000 said, unless the mystery artist turns out to be someone else, I'd say more teasing will come in the next week. No matter when the single becomes available on YouTube, its official release will probably be next Friday in time for its live debut and exactly four weeks before the album is released.
  19. If TFI has 3 musical guests, there's room for one more next week... a secret, as of yet unannounced guest. ;) What day of the week does TFI normally air on?
  20. Oh, Rik... replying to our own ov3la's tweet. "That's a cool picture" indeed! He knows something!! :D That gif he posted is pretty cool, I immediately see the connection with the iHeartRadio festival visuals from behind the band. I'm just so glad we are getting some cryptic teasing!
  21. The 360 screens were a nice change from the huge stadium visuals. I don't think so many songs need lasers (other than Clocks, which traditionally features them). Politik as a concert opener vs Hurts Like Heaven as a concert opener
