I always skipped over A Whisper for a while after I bought A Rush of Blood to the Head. The song just did not interest me for a long time until last year when I found out that it was played live for only the second time ever. I was inspired to give the song another chance and I have enjoyed it ever since.

I don't dislike POC, I just think it is average. That's not because Rihanna is featured... Coldplay needed a female singer and they found one who fits the theme. I just think the song is poorly produced. Live, the instrumentals shine through much better and the vocals don't sound artificial.

Princess of China instrumental isn't bad at all actually. Everything (especially Guy's bass) sounds a lot better with a good pair of headphones. I'm not someone who loves the song but it's a little easier to focus on the quality of instrumental parts with no vocals. I actually like it a little more thanks to that instrumental version, thank you. :)

I will never have a solid unchanging list but that one has to do for now.

I am really fond of both For You and Harmless. A song doesn't need to be entirely acoustic to be stripped down and minimalistic. As long as the rest of the album has more of an AROBTTH or Parachutes feel then they would fit right in.

Next Monday is likely the next opportunity to surprise us with something so for once I'm actually looking forward to a Monday ;)

My personal favorite acoustic song is Careful Where You Stand. It's sweet, filled with emotion, and one of those b-sides that is as good as or even better than some album tracks. I'd love another song like it

I want a song on the album that sounds like the MX tour version of Warning Sign. I think that a raw arrangement of that sort is something Coldplay need to do more often. GS had some of that but it was more electronic than acoustic

Unfortunately I do not, but I am considering picking up the guitar or piano in the near future. Eventually when I start getting a feel for my instrument a YouTube channel would be fun.

One thing I know for sure that made Coldplay feel somewhat LOW was the fact that Phil was not around. Plus they went through a ridiculous amount of songs that were written and rewritten over and over like Talk. They scrapped several albums worth of songs and consider it the most difficult Coldplay album ti record

I could never be a politician... there's too much pressure and hypocrisy. There are so many empty promises that get people elected. Who would ever want to be king (or president)?

Maybe sometimes we take things too far but there is so much excitement around here. So much anticipation! They should surprise us the way they did with Midnight. Unless you lived in Asia, Midnight was posted on YouTube in the morning or afternoon
