One more thing... 1:36 was the original length of the song (it is now 2:05) so that is where the name comes from.

To me, 1.36 seems to be about how we, the human race, are divided when in reality we are all one group and one species. Because of selfish, judgemental human nature, we are all blind to our similarities so we fight one another over our differences.

Ehh, even the person who tweeted all of that admitted it's only speculation for now... but it would be pretty cool if it did happen! As for myself, I'd love it if the first single is initially released to the world as a video. The Midnight video did a lot for our perception of the song and was essential for someone first listening to it. On another note, Anton Corbijn really needs to film a Coldplay video again during this era!
