  1. And if you still end up falling then blame it upon a rush of blood to the head
  2. double post.
  3. But... but... you have to admit that at least in small doses the minions are so hilarious and adorable Look at those guys Look how they annoy you With everything they do But they are all yellow I came along I wrote this song to you Just to ask why you Despise those fellows
  4. As quite a geek myself this looks quite interesting! I'd love to watch some of it, it looks like there was a lot of effort put into the show's realism.
  5. How depressing :( There's no denying that Kids Company made such a difference in the lives of kids across the UK even if there was some sort of mismanagement going on
  6. I know that Chris has supported Tidal but it has recieved so much criticism... releasing anything as a Tidal exclusive will invite some backlash
  7. Were you just moving too quickly? There's no need to go up and down the stairs at the speed of sound. Slowwwww it down
  8. I agree, they kind of just released the EP and told everybody "Here you go, we might or might not use these songs again but here's something new for now." If they try a three-song EP again, the album's track listing should already be set in stone.
  9. I'd love a 3-song EP to start off the era like what they did with ETIAW. Put the single on it, another album track, and a b-side
  10. That's true... everyone has a different taste in Coldplay music. Changing the setlist is Coldplay's super secret plan to convince people to buy tickets to more than one show haha ;)
  11. Happy birthday! :) Anyways, if Coldplay are going to treat AHFOD as a conclusion of something, why not do the same with the tour! A longer setlist will fit in not just new songs and hits, but also older and lesser-known material. On U2's current tour they have several spots in the setlists for different songs to rotate. If Coldplay do the same thing we could hear Green Eyes and Strawberry Swing one night and the next night they could play Shiver and Daylight.
  12. I know, right? I mention Coldplay and most of the time the other person says something about liking "that song Paradise" and how much of a fan they are. I tell them my favorite Coldplay song is Politik and they have no idea what I'm talking about. It's so sad...
  13. I'm going to be glued to the band's Twitter feed... any day now they may start posting teasers a la ETIAW and Midnight
  14. I personally like the slightly less overproduced sound but I also really don't like that when Rihanna couldn't appear to sing POC herself, Coldplay just used a recording of her with Chris awkwardly not doing anything for much of the song.
  15. Awesome! I was laughing so much that it felt like The World Turned Upside Down when I read that :D It reminds me of what my friends and I used to talk about on the Strawberry Swing.
  16. I became a fan around the MX era but Coldplay didn't come to my city so I'm really really really hoping that I can finally see a Coldplay concert in person on the upcoming tour :D
  17. I was going through some tough personal times when I discovered X&Y. I had heard and liked the hits but Coldplay were the first band I set out to discover on my own. The rest of my music taste was kind of given to me by my parents, haha! :) So on one hand Coldplay have a lot of sentimental value to me but their music also has this unique beauty. Despite how much they have changed their sound, there is still something uniquely "Coldplayish" that has stayed with them. Lastly, I often find that I can fit a Coldplay song or album with just about any situation in my life. They are my soundtrack.
  18. If we do crash, it's important that we Don't Panic.
  19. I personally would love to go on such a flight, especially if it is High Speed!
  20. I still have faith in this band... something tells me that Coldplay are making an honest effort to release an album that they will be remembered by. Whether it's the last record of their career or not, LP7 is the conclusion of something and why not finish the chapter with something memorable? I hope I'm not being too optimistic but we may be surprised
  21. Please come to Denver, Colorado in the United States. The last time you came I was too young and you never came during the MX tour. Red Rocks Amphitheater is an absolutely beautiful place to see a concert and Pepsi Center is a nice arena if you want to play in a bigger venue! Edit: Latin America really deserves to see more Coldplay because it's been a while and it seems to have such a passionate fanbase :)
  22. I could not agree more! We all just need to have faith that Coldplay will amaze us again. In my opinion, Chris is implying that they are really trying to cook up something special. If AHFOD is the end of a phase of the band's career, I think it's in their nature to want to finish strong with a big “thank you” to the fanbase. :)
  23. I think it's entirely possible that a lot of the writing/recording for LP7 has already been done. Since there wasn't a large tour for Ghost Stories the band likely had a lot of spare time this year to work on new material.
  24. I tried to upload a screenshot but my phone isn't letting me... Anyways, if you have downloaded the booklet pdf file I am referring to the third page.
