Does anybody know what type of synth guy is using on the Twisted Logic Tour? It is mounted stage right and he uses it to play the piano riff for 'Speed of Sound' and something else on another song.

Does anyone know how to play on wine glasses? I mean with finger like Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality. Please help, I want to try it. :) :)

I've seen a couple of posts on different boards from people interested in starting Coldplay tribute bands. Now this is something I'd really love to do. Problem is every offer I've seen is from somewhere in the UK. Is there anyone in the New England area of the US who's interested in trying something like this? I play Piano and sing.

hey, i see some great tabs in Kapone's tab thread....but tuning the guitar to be able to play many of these coldplay songs is trciky. can anyone help with how to tune for songs such as til kingdom come, yellow, well any of them i guess! and while i'm at it, anyone know how i can download the acoustic tracks from this "japan acoustic session" i have read about?

Hey all, I'm gonna be investing in a guitar soon. What I wanted to ask advice on was this. I'm looking for a good investment in all the equipment that will help me get a grasp on Jonny's sound. I tried asking in a nother thread but I got no answers. I'm pretty new to guitar, so I don't really know anything about the pedals and other crazy shite that goes with them. Some explanations would be awesome and whatever else anyone can give me. I really appreciate it.

I want to learn to play guitar (i've been playing a classical or flamenco guitar in music class during a year), i wanted to buy an accoustic guitar but is more expensive than a classical, and an electric guitar is more or less as expensive as an accoustic one... so what's the best kind of guitar to keep learning to play guitar... and do i can play any coldplay song in a classical guitar? i mean a friend have an electric guitar and told me that don't sound like a classical and that you can't play it like if the electric were the classical? does my friend is right?.

Hiya, i used to play the guitar when i was about 10years old and really enjoyed it, but had to give up after about 6months for various reasons. I would really love to start again but dont remember....well...anything. :( I can read some basic music, but im not great. I would really love to start to teach myself. Has anyone else taught themselves from scratch? How hard is it? I have lots of patience so i guess that would help. And also how much do you think i could buy a cheap 1st guitar for, as i dont have my old one anymore? Any tips/comments would be a big help! Cheers. :) x

looking for accurate tabs for warning sign and easy to please. I've found several for both and although the notes are accurate, they are all missing the little slides and such. maybe it's two guitars and I can't recreate the fills on one, but I would love to see how to do them anyway. You can hear them when you listen to the CD, but all the tabs I've managed to find contain no slides or anything. I especially love the ones on easy to please. any help, is GREATLY appreciated. thanks

hey everyone! as part of new year resolutions i have decided to actually fullfill my one of my dreams, which is to buy a guitar and learn how to play it. i used to play keayboards and a bit of piano, but i sort of quit. i have picked up guitars before and i was basically self teaching myself, but since that was so long ago i barely remember, i want to finally learn for sure this time. im planing on resuming playing an acoustic, but i dont want to start with a bad guitar, so what characteristics should i find in an acoustic? what models or brands should i look for? i would really apreciate all of you help, thanks in advance ;) !!! ps. keep in mind that im not ho…
