hey, i'm doing an in-depth musical analysis on the song Fix You. which'll be fun.. could anyone help me on figuring out would to call the final part of this song... so far, i know it goes... verse 1 verse 2 chorus bridge (instrumental passage) verse 3 chorus -.................then the crescendo guitar part and climax. is it the coda? outro? verse 4? bridge? hook? middle 8? another chorus? also, the last lyric "lights will guide you home...", i'm guessing is the coda. -thanks anyone that can help. :D

hi, if any one's interested, there's actually the official music books for X&Y and Live 2003 in TAB form on amazon and sites like that. but i think they're only available in the UK, since on the back it says "not authorised for sale in the US or canada". thought i'd let you all know,as i didn't know they were there until i had a proper look.

Ok so I've finally purchased a guitar, this one acoustic Yamaha F-310. Anyways i'm starting to get the hang of the things very slowly (I've learned Mary had a little lamb :/ ) but I know there's still a long way till' I can get some Coldplay going. haha anyways I just wanted to know for all those people that don't take lessons or just know what are some good ways to start off playing guitar? Any specific advice you can give me on where I should look for training, etc? I noticed that one of my biggest problems was just correctly holding down the frets to avoid that weird buzzing sound it makes, but I'm sure that will go away over time. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

ok heres the deal - im thinking of buying a guitar but if i did i wouldnt have a teacher but would try and learn from books and stuff. is this recommended? and how long would it take for me to become any good at playing - like how long would it be before i could play anything by coldplay any help would be much appreciated

What effects is Jonny using to get that great tone in the lead of this song? Any setting suggestions? Also, what songs is he using that Colorsound Tonebender pedal in? That is supposede to be a pretty harsh, spitty fuzz like Jimmy Page used in early Zep.
