I haven't got a clue if this is in the right section or even if it's possible at all, but I was wondering if there was a backing track for Life in Technicolor floating around which is similar to the one Coldplay used live on the Viva tour. The track is just the dulcimer and sample from Light Through The Veins by Jon Hopkins. Does anyone have any idea where I could find a similar backing track?

In about a month i'm going to buy a guitar. The problem is that i don't know which one i'm going to buy :P It's definetly going to be an electric one (strat/tele or similar). I'm not thinking about a very expencive one (between $200-$380). If anyone have any idea about which one i should buy, please tell me :P PS: I'm not sure what's the difference between the Stratocaster and the Telecaster, could anyone tell me? :)

Hello guys, When i want record something that i do i use a normal camera to record it, the qualitiy is very bad, so i want to buy something that would allow to record things professionaly, but i want the chepiest possibly! :D The basic stuff to record voice and guitar at the same time. I know that are interfaces that allow to do that, with different inputs for guitar and mic. I dont have a mic too. So i want suggestions about cheap equipements that i can buy. Interface and mic. Ive been playing just under a year, never had a lesson, just taught myself, just wondering if anyone had any tips? Especially for two hand playing, I can do a few songs with both hands but I still struggle a little, any tips?

First let me introduce myself. I'm in a Coldplay tribute that works North and Central America. We'll be band of three years in October. My question is does anyone know what Jonny is playing at the final chorus? It is similar to the main riff but sounds like double stops. It's also REALLY hard to make it out over Chris screamin over it. I've always just played the main riff but now I want to make it more authentic. I figured if anyone can help me it would in a forum dedicated to the band. Thanks.

I can't find anything about it on the net, I only noticed they use a Yamaha GT-20 and a pair of Korg Kontrol49 (a keyboard that I have!!!:lol:) Especially in the last albums with Brian Eno there are always some keyboard parts with stunning sounds... For example, in In My Place I think I hear the famous Korg's "Distortion organ" preset, and the "Fix You" organ is so similar to the GarageBand's clonewheel... The Viva la Vida keyboard sounds aren't familiar with me - I know Korgs wery well because they always have been my lead keyboards... but in Mylo Xyloto I can hear something that reminds me the OASYS or the Kronos... I was thinking up earlier, that I'd like to sing in a band covering songs. Not just coldplay though, I'm thinking the same area kind of songs (the killers, snow patrol, kaiser chiefs). So this could be a long distance band, and I'm happy to do vocals. I'm grade 5 and hoping to do some more soon. I'm in the UK if anyone has any ideas
