I was bored and I'm a poet:D so I decided to attempt to make a song. The titles looks like some Muse song, but I'm hardly a musician (I can play the Scientist, Trouble, Clocks, Viva on the piano). I guess this would start with some soft minor chords being played in the beginning, setting the tone. As the songs get angrier, the piano gets louder, and by the chorus, it's getting pounded. At the third verse, the drums would set in (I'm dreaming now:P) and then at the outro, everything goes nuts (Kind of like a twisted Fix you or Amsterdam) Anyways, it's hardly that good, but here it is. Hello everybody, I hope your having a happy New Years. I'm wondering, How can I tell when my guitar strings are tuned down a half step? I have some tuners I only use for extreme tunings. My tuners only show flat notes and not sharp notes. When you tune down half a step do you tune it to say,(for example) D# or Db? I'm trying to tune my acoustic down to the Charlie Brown official tuning, but I'm having trouble. Any help is appreciated thanks. :)

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ Hi guys! I taught myself to play piano/keyboard about a year ago now :) and by "taught myself" I mean I can play parts of about 11/12 Coldplay songs and a few others, including a Muse song, Fur Elise (a simple version and I think I spelled that wrong...), a Titanic song, a My Chemical Romance song, Wonderwall by Oasis (piano cover) etc... Hey, I'm needing some new strings and was wondering what kind of string thickness Jonny plays with. With my current strings I'm having some trouble playing some of the songs (eg Lovers in Japan) as they require fast strumming over different strings. Does anybody have idea what kind of string I should get in order to play that bit more efficiently? I can play the song fine, just not as quick as I'd hope to. Cheers. :)
