Two things funny about that:

1. The title of the article

2. The fact that somebody would shut down their own message board because of negative comments :stunned:

One disappointed fan hit back by calling George a “control freak”. :stunned:

Sucks to be him. :P

It's happened before. For example: Arch Enemy and In Flames shut down their boards cause of members trolling.

Also anyoneseenthebridge.com shut down its main features as members were posted pornographic pics of other members.

Extra tidbits, the ex-singer of Atrox complained to the mod of a community I go to as a review site hosted there gave her a negative review and witty criticism. Oh, and for the Sinergy board, the lead singer banned a fan for criticising her media press releases (where she insulted the singer of another band).

I couldn't imagine what would happen if any of above two were really famous.

They should've made a calendar and earn money... :P

Like the coldplaying males calendar!!

if Chris M ever complained of the shennanigans at the official board we'd get overrun here :o

I don't think it's that big of a deal. I mean, it's kind of silly to go to someone's message board and then say a bunch of negative things about them. I don't blame him for shutting it down.
