can we not just accept that people enjoy certain things without it being an example of any kind of internalized prejudice

 

we've all been through different shit that's made us like this

 

i, for one, have been burned by girls. i am intimidated by girls, as girls were the culprits of the bullying. i still give everyone a fair chance, regardless of gender, but don't call me misogynistic because the majority of my friends end up being guys.

 

a specific group of girls taught me to hate myself, but i still learned and internalized to be careful around girls in general. that's not my fault. that's not their fault. it's just how things end up.

 

a lot of super-empowered hyper feminist girls seem to be practicing sexism despite their own efforts and perpetuating the woman-on-woman mindset they say they're fighting against...

 

and seriously...i don't understand the pro-choice argument that there are no consequences of sex for men, so there shouldn't be for women. there obviously are consequences, or there would be no problem. find a different argument. and i can't believe such an avid feminist would tell another woman to "fuck off" for being pro-life and defending that opinion. wow. i don't know where i stand as of now, but i should probably put more thought into this.
