But that's when all the bears and cougars are at their most active!

Hi Mark, true that you are a specialist with series on TV:)

I think there's no danger in towns... I haven't seen any bear or cougar when I was in Montreal or Quebec City:)

Then maybe you weren't looking hard enough!:P

Anyway, cougars are very hard to spot, as they like to take their prey by surprise!

When I was on Vancouver Island, I was actually warned not to go running up into the hills, as I might not come back.:stunned:

I heeded the advice, of course!:D

Exactly. I'm still here to tell the tale, obviously!:P

I never saw any :P

Not even in Costco?

So didn't I :P But I saw a lynx once :D And a bear :P and a couple of deers :P

What? No Moose? What kind of Canadian are ye??:P

I've seen Michelle Fatmanmoose. Does that count?

I found some Moose doing a tango:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19plF6QLQJ0]YouTube - Sparring Bull Moose Kiss, and Make Up[/ame]

Who's Michelle Fatmanmoose?

Yeah I saw a moose before, it was stuck in an inondation at spring time, the poor animal :( They had to call Idon'tknowwho to get him out of here, with precautions and all :P

I nearly hit a deer once, while driving :(

Yikes! But hey, I think we've all almost clobbered a deer driving - it's almost unavoidable anywhere.. (except in Saudi Arabia, where they have to watch for camels.)

Maybe they floated the moose out, and called it a Canadian chocolate moose float?:P
