La Pedrera is in the Paseo de Gracia, in a corner. It's a curious building with a waving shape. I'm sure you visited it, it's really typical.

You studied here in Barcelona? When? Yeeeah, it is a very beautiful city. All the visitors love it. And, Gisela, your spelling was perfect!! :D

Yeah, the guys stayed here the next day after the gig. Well, that's what the bus driver told me. Their next gig was Berlin and they had a day off.

Damn it!! I'd like to meet them somewhere... :bigcry: :bigcry:

but you are not talking in here.... you are typing.... so start typing already! :/

Noni, I wonder where the guys visited. I studied abroad in Granada. But, when I had break, I visited Barcelona. Once with some friends and then at the end of my stay with my brother. It's a very pretty city. I also Like Gaudi's architecture. I visited those apartment buildings, "la sagrada familia", and that park that he created. The architecture is different but interesting. That's a nice picture of them though near that building

When I was there I remeber "Las ramblas" and the port (there are stores and restaurants around there.) Me and my friends were saving money so I remember eating more than once at a sandwich place- "La bocata" I think is the name. Good Spanish Omellete and tuna sandwhiches. Yummy and cheap.

Anyways, maybe next time you'll meet them, but the concert must have been great! When did you talk to their bus driver?

athy, how was the concert? I heard it was good...in Berlin, right?

You studied in Granada? What did you studied? Wow, I've never been in but all the people tell me that it's a beautiful city, specially La Alhambra. I must go someday.

Yeah, Gaudi's architecture is very peculiar, but original and cool. I really like Park Güell and also La Pedrera. The tourists get crazy about the Sagrada Familia, it's really funny!! In fact, it's a cathedral, although it doesn't like like that. :D

Aaaah, las Ramblas is one of the best places, and also one of the most known. Manic Street Preachers also mention it in a song... ;). And the seaport is beautiful too.

  Bocatta!! You ate that!! Everyone eat that when you haven't money. I always do it!! It's this kind of fast-food like MacDonals, but they cook sandwiches. And yeah they're really good.

Noni, I studied spanish at the universidad de Granada (there is an international university) Yah, you should visit if you've never been. The alhambra is beautiful and be sure to check it out at night too...I don't know if many people know you can see it at night (different effect) The culture is a bit different there...more flamenco, etc. Andalusia! I also got to visit Sevilla and Cordoba while I was there. Nice cities too!

Question...does everyone have to learn Catalan when they are studying in Barcelona? When I went there everyone knew Spanish, but I know they speak Catalan too. When I was shopping one of the saleswoman stated speaking to me in Catalan...but she figured out by my expression that I could only sepak Spanish. I think it is neat that they speak both languages there.

Where do you live in Barcelona? It's such a big place...I probably won't know. Plus you probably live in the outskirts of the city?

athy tell us the intersting details! I wanna laugh!
