Camille, I have naturally straight hair but if i want it to be super smooth and stick straight, i'll break out my ceramic flat iron.

I have naturally curly hair.. and I did that Japaneese starightening thingy.. where your hair stays straight for 6 months!! I can actually still wear my hair curly if I want to ..but they are droopy curls, not tight ones like I naturally have.. anyhoo.. it makes it easier to blow out, which I've just done.. but I can't be arsed at the moment to go iron it. lol I love my ceramic iron!

Ooh me me! Wet2Straight irons...fantastic!

Yeah, my ceramic iron is my best friend...especially when it rains and my hair gets all gross looking. :D

I used to use that too.

But now I just use a bunch of Thermasilk products because using the flat iron can really kill your hair. It helps protect it from damage and it really works.

I flat iron my hair, I have for about a year. I used to use this crappy Con-air straightener, it hardly did anything and would take forever. So then I started ironing my hair, like really ironing it, with an iron. I heard that was bad, so I stopped, I kinda knew it was bad, but at the time, it did the job.

Then I spent like $150 on a ceramic straighener at my salon, and havent gone back since. I flatiron my hair every time I wash it, after blow-drying it. It is a hassle, but it gets straigher and faster the more you do it. And I only wash my hair every few days.

I dry my hair with a towel. Then if it's still damp, I'll just let it dry, lol.

I used to do that too when my mom refused to buy me a straightener. I think I had a Con-air one as well. It was white and had one of those steam features to it. It sucked ass.

I spent like $130 on my ceramic iron and it's the best.

My sister did that too, ironed it because my mom didn't want her straightening it... so stupid. Thats where I got it from.

And.... now my sis curls her hair of all things, and my mom doesnt mind because she likes how it looks. Yah, she is right, that is so much better for your hair <sarcasm>

moi butr i leave my hair to dry naturally and if my curls behave themselves i leave them, if not they get attacked by the straighteners :sneaky:

i always thought it would be cool to have curly hair-but people with curly hair say its such a hassle...

but with my hair being flat, if i tried to curl it it just doesnt stay curly :(

i love my ceramic straightners though-straight in seconds!

woah! I spent $40 USD on my cermaic iron... its a ProTools Professional! Same as they use in the salon too.. but i bought it at the Flea Market! :laugh3: I guess I got a good deal! :P

Haha, my mom is the opposite of Sweet One's. She insists on buying me a straight iron as my volumous harr is always tangly and kinda unruly. We just need to find one that works well for a reasonable price.

Ooh, and I've heard ConAir's is uber-crappy and doesn't work.

I have straight hair but too much of it (never wish for a lot of thick hair...). So it's pretty untamed unless I iron or blowdry it a lot. I don't mind it kinda messy though...

I have disobedient hair  so I use a straightener but only when I'm going out so it'll stay straight. But otherwise, I just blowdry it and it goes straight :)

I used to flat iron it, but I usually blow dry it straight, add some silkly straightening product and then curl it with a curling iron...other wise my hair is frizzy with semi curls

both my sisters straighten there hair

they straightend mine before with some of them gdh's, and my hair went in my eye and it really hurt :/

poor of jack!

EXACTLY! I have straight hair but it's pretty thick and full and stuff. It can be a total hassle.
