I'm not that impressed by the chorus, but I love the final part, when Bono's voice becomes deeper...and I'm trying to figure out the real meaning of the song..I've read some people saying the lyrics are trivial, that it's another love song..I'm more prone to think the love they're singing is not between a man and a woman but it's more the love of human kind, a sort of celebration of what we can do if we keep helping each other and the hope this love gives is seen as a window in the skies

I haven't thought about the lyrics yet haha. Just enjoying the sounds at this point. But yeah I love the deep vocal part as well.

It does make sense! I didn't really think about the meaning of the song before you mentioned it.

I'm travelling to Hawaii to see U2 in December, and one of my colleagues actually said ""Who are U2??!!!" Hard to believe someone can live on this planet and not have at least heard of U2!!

this has reminded me of something that happened on monday:

a workmate of mine said "i'm going to the u2 concert" and honestly, my jaw dropped, i couldn't believe it. after telling her how disappointed i was missing out etc she was like "yeah, i'm not really a fan-fan, like i don't know many of their songs or anything but i like them. my friend asked me if i wanted to go and i was like 'sure' "

all of a sudden i was filled with rage lol seriously stood in disbelief. i started telling her about the supporting act being kanye west, and she was like "who is that?" (i'm really not kidding, this is what she was saying). this insane conversation ended with her going "haha, that's so funny you said that because i would've thought the rapper was part of u2 or something". all i was thinking was "am i truly having this conversation?" :stunned: :thinking:
