Lasik (sp?) Eye Surgery

Featured Replies

Does anybody know anyone who's done this? Or have you done this yourself?

I'm just curious.

my grandmother.. she now has 20/20 vision! I am tempted to do so.. but I;m afraid.. :embarrased:

Eww god no i watched someone have that on tv last night and i mean i like touching my eyeball(no im not weird lol) but i couldn`t have it wide open like that and some lazer have a poke around :stunned:

My grandad wanted it but its £300 per eye

If my eyes were bad, I'd definately do it.

£600 is nothing for perfect vision.

my supervisor did. but she has to wear sunglasses everytime she goes outside, even if its overcast. her eyes are way too sensitive now.

no more glasses my ass.

i had an eye test last year in LA and the guy put this blue thing near my eye. Afterwards I asked him if that touched my eye and he said yes. I didn't even feel it! Its nothing to worry about. I'm paranoid about things touching my eyes so I freaked out anyway. you really can't feel it. Anyway, its embarrising when your grandparents sight is better than yours!

my grandpa did it, and was very pleased with it, he has great vision now. Im thinking about doing this in the future.

Hmmm dunno anyone who's had it but from what i've heard it can casue serious problems

hell i'd do it if some one felt like payin for it for me

If I wore glasses, I would probably get that done.

:D Wow, I forgot I made this thread.

Thanks everyone!

My friend is getting it done next week, but i've heard different things about the results. One person I know has perfect vision like no problems whatsoever, and my other friend had the same problem as Kyra's friend...and she has trouble seeing in the dark now. :stunned:

I'm not sure. I forgot what she told me she was paying. I do remember saying, "wow" but i was only half paying attention.

I wear glasses, 3.5 and 3 of increasement. Life turns very diffused without them

So I think I'm doing it in some years :glasses:

my mom got it done shes fine

my dad got it done he's fine

my uncle got it done he's fine

my other uncle got it done he's fine...

i would get it done...if i didnt have 20/20 :P

I had eye surgery when I was 6 or so, and I still wear glasses/lenses.

Because of my eye nerv that caused my right eye to go left.

Now it only goes left if I need to see some things clearly without my glasses or lenses.
