I hate these friggen things.

i have a livestrong, breast cancer, make poverty history, and just believe for tashs disease (can't spell that last one)

these have become soooo popular now.. and i'm like justine.. i think i didn't notice them until lance went on oprah. or maybe it was that because he was on oprah, more people were wearing them..

Well, everyone on Oprah was wearing them indeed. :wink3:

seriously, the day after i saw oprah, an old coworker of mine wearing it. it was freaky, really.

I meant like on the show... everyone on the show was wearing them... nevermind, the moment is over.

i saw the moment, but decided to ignore it ... because.. well.. i don't know.. :P

it's insane how trendy these things have become though, people want em just to collect em, not to support any cause or what not, but if the charities are getting money out of it, not complaining too much, it's all real genius to me on their part

I have the breast cancer one, bullying, make poverty history and livestrong

I hate all the cheap and nasty copies that are going around and the charitys arnt getting money for

where does everyone get the charity ones from then, charity shops or internet or...?

charity shops and website are the best bet i think..like oxfam, or breastcancer UK

what are the livestrong ones about? seems like an exceptionally good idea, really...already got an anti-bullying one, but frankly i don't give to charities enough as it is, apart form the alzheimers ones...

I don't have one but they are huge around here!

Yes, I didn't notice they at all until Lance was on Oprah. Now I see them everywhere, strange enough, I think more guys have them than girls.

Where did you get yours? I mean, I know you can get them online, but anywhere else?

Well like I said, I don't have one..but around here people order them online in cases of about 30 and sell them off to their friends.

LOL, sorry, I didn't stop to read your post.

 It's all good!

Erm you can get the Make Poverty History one from http://www.makepovertyhistory.org or Oxfam, the Livestrong ones you can get from sport shops and http://www.britishwristbands.co.uk/

The british wristband one sems to be selling fakes :(

But they are selling an anti-chav band :idea2:

And is teh make poverty history fabric band still one you can wear like the normal rubberish ones?

yeah they are just like the jelly bracelets from the 80's! so many of the clothing trends from the 80's is back and I lived it once and now i am living it again ug!

my make poverty history band has a clippy bit..

Out of curiosity, who has one here?

i got one of those and the makepovertyhistory one

i got me 2 fake ones in a club yesterday. one is white and says cheer up for life and the other one`s black and says take control. together they`re anty racism bracelets (or at least i make them look like it cuz i need a proper anti-racism one).

i know a bunch of people who have them. on cut her's in made earrings out of them! :stunned:

but people have a bunch of different ones...i've seen some live jewish ones  :P
