At the end of Fix You in Cochella Chris says "Be positive about world, theres only three more years left"..............im scared.....

  :/ :/

I have no clue what he is referring to.

this has been discussed several times in different threads, I believe he might mean 3 more years that Bush is in office..

I believe you are right about Bush. Chris has made it clear, thankfully, that he does not care for Bush so this makes sense.

I am not an american, so I didn't vote in the election obviously, but.. if people don't want Bush in power so much, why do they still vote for him? It makes no sense to me really.

Justine, unfortunately in this country there are an awful bunch of naive people who fall for every load of fear tactic and war mongering that is thrown at them. Bush was able to make moral issues like gay marriage a key election point. Many of the states here had gay marriage ban amendments on the ballots for the same day as the general election so more religious voters came out to vote for the amendment and drop a vote of for Bush at the same time. Fortunately there are many millions of people in this country who are fed up with this crap and hopefully in 2008 a REAL CHANGE will be made. It is amazing what fear and propaganda can do to a population.

Basically if you're conservative you'll go for Bush and if you're more liberal you'd go for Kerry. I voted for Kerry, but I guess conservatism is predominant in the US. that's why he got elected again, Justine. Those idiots... :P

Or we actually wanted a president who didnt change his mind every other day, if not for that i believe kerry would have won the election. but american didnt want a man who mind was never made up.

ooh i think he's a republican. GET HIM!

yeah i voted for kerry too, but i'm a 19 year old turning 20, it's easy for me to be against bush. for the other americans though, i don't think they saw enough in kerry to sway them from what they're comfortable with in bush

I didn't hear that I guess I wasn't paying attention because I went to Coachella

I have a video clip when they where playing clocks and when chris was presenting all the band members when they where going to sing a song to Johnny Cash but I can't post them up all try again

Here in America we are stupid and vote for Republicans! Fortunately I did not suppoert that idiot for a second term. Be a democrat!
