May 30, 200521 yr Am I the only one who thinks this song is completely awesome? The "floating on a tidal wave" part is reminiscent of beatles song, strawberry fields maybe.
May 30, 200521 yr i like it :) the strings at the end surprised me though! i'm just going through them now (just finished the track X&Y) after i listen to the album a few solid listens through i'll decide what i think about all of them :P only one listen, i already forget what most of the song sounds like
May 31, 200521 yr Incredible song, i hope they add it to the set list, It is this CD's Warning Sign in that it will never get the recognition it deserves
May 31, 200521 yr Author Well its cool that everyone has their different favorites, just lik eon the first two albums. Everyone can find a song that appeals to them.
May 31, 200521 yr This is a great track- quite a nice treat considering I never heard it played live before. This and "The Hardest Part" are current favs.
May 31, 200521 yr Wow The Hardest Part is a great song, i think NME called it "this years [The]Scientist". szuchy you're so diplomatic wish i was like that! but you're right i'm glad i've found some poeple who really like this song, puts a bid warm smile on my face :guitarist: :nice: :nice: :pleased: :pleased:
May 31, 200521 yr Speed of sound is still my favorite track. It's too fricken addictive. I dub it this years's "Clocks". :D
May 31, 200521 yr I'm trying to forget it :P Nah, it ain't that bad, but most of us is tired of it already which proves it's not one of their best songs. I've never been that tired of a coldplay song that quickly.
May 31, 200521 yr  I'm kind of angry at them for not choosing a better single, like White Shadows, when the album contains 12 songs that are better than it.
June 1, 200521 yr yes.. but I think we can all agree in my place wasnt the best choice for a first single too
June 1, 200521 yr indeed...is one of my favs! edit: for me sounds a lil bit to the greatest band The Beatles!
June 3, 200521 yr i love this song, especially the tidal wave part... and how he waits before saying together... and then he holds it out to a crescendo... beautiful very beatles-esque indeed
