I've decided to wait until Monday to go by the CD and shove it on in my car and blast it like a bitch. Besides, it sounds like the sound quality of the leaked stuff is not too good. Nothing better than listening to a new Coldplay CD for the first time! Come on those of you who have listened to it already, how good is it really?

I'll rate it a 8.5 out of a 10 :)

There are actually rips of the album that are pretty good quality today.

it's still too early to rate it but i think it'll end up being my favourite, i hope so

After all is said and done, Coldplay's best work to date.

I've 'aquired' the album yesterday and have thus far resisted from listening to anything i haven't already heard. I want the excitement of putting the CD into my HiFi and just chilling, listening to it for the first time. Monday will be AWESOME :smug:

I've had the good rip on repeat all day together with the Jap bonus track and so far id rate it as their best album,Chris Martins Opus!.

It's assuredly as good as Parachutes and AROBTTH, but it'll take a couple of listens to find if it's actually better. It's certainly more epic than the last two, which is good...maybe.

i'm waiting too, i even downloaded the bonus japanese track and have held off on listening to it. there's just nothing quite like popping in the cd and hearing it for the first time through earphones.

There is nothing like popping in an mp3 as well. :wink3:

I've restrained myself to listen to only five of the songs (Square One, Fix You, Speed of Sound, Low, Swallowed In The Sea) and I think the songs are fantastic. Much better than AROBTH in my opinion.

 

From those five it seems that Speed of Sound is my least favorite. :lol:

I'm waiting, I just love the "experience" of a new Coldplay CD, or any good album, for that matter. Besides, I've waited this long, may as well go all the way. As well, the new music makes the fight with the plastic wrap on the CD so much more worth it. :lol:

I am waiting, until Tuesday to give it a proper listen.

I am mainly waiting till Monday but if they played on the Radio I am listening ... nowt wrong with that !

I'm waiting, I've only downloaded X&Y because I was intrested by the reviews saying it would be big at the festivals

Plus, I should be allowed to download that, Considering I had only heard SOS after I had downloaded it :P

I have pre-ordered it for Monday but I listened to the whole thing (including hidden track ) on XFM last night. At least I can listen to it in full quality on Monday though rather than crap streaming. :D

I am also waiting...but 'til Tuesday.. :( 'cause it comes out in Tuesday over here so.. :smug:

So have I. I've only listened to What If, Talk, SoS, Fix You aaand... hey, that;s it! I've only heard four! Yeah... But I'm not so strong after all... I vowed not to listen till it comes out... Yet here I am, crying over Fix YOu

I've only got the single until now and will wait until Monday to purchase the album. After my appointment at the dentist's which I'm really looking forward to. :sweatdrop:

That is, of course, if the shops already stock it then. Sometimes it takes until Tuesday. :/

It's certainly not an easy task, but I'm waiting out for the release too! Besides, there's some Coldplay specials on mtv to get me through easier :D !

I've downloaded... But I deleted everything right away, after listening a few times. :idea2:
