So sad Fotos and Lower Saxony only got a few points, because I think their performance was quite good. My highlights except Peter Fox: Polarkreis 18 (great performance I must say http://tvtotal.prosieben.de/components/videoplayer/1294/1294-01-16-index.html ) and the crazy radio announcer of Baden-Württemberg. Has anyone just watched it, too? OMG, how embarrassing!!! At the very beginning the male announcer touched the tits of the other announcer for no reason. She became extremely angry and rapidly gave him a slap in the face. :stunned::laugh3:

I like Polarkreis 18 as well, but they mix English and German in their songs and though I have their album I'm not sure if there's a song of them that's just in German. For example 'Allein, Allein' (also a big hit here) is in English, just the chorus is in German. Well, a part of the chorus. :rolleyes: If you like heavier music as well, maybe Rammstein pleases you. Well, I think Germans really like mainstream a lot. We have very good artists who are not sooo popular here, even if they really deserve it. But they are often popular in other countries. For example Schiller - not the German poet. ;) But I have to admit, that a lot of American and British music is damn good, so don't judge us by our good taste in music. :cool: ooook I guess it's my turn again..:P I also recommended this to Lana....one of my favourite german songs...Lee Buddah- Jung, dumm und glücklich:nice: That's a cool song! February 18, 200917 yr last night i went to see last year's DSDS (german pop idol) winner thomas godoj. and i have to say it was a great gig, better than expected, i was really impressed. there were no screaming kids or anything, the majority of the crowd was way older than me... he played 2 hours, which was nice, compared to the 90 minutes set you usually get these days :rolleyes: plus, he had 6 musicians with him (his old band, before he went to DSDS) and they sounded great. his voice is amazing, although he was a bit... how do you say that in english when you caught a cold and it affects your voice? croaky? ;D anyway. it was still very good :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1K36ujwDeMc]YouTube - Thomas Godoj - Autopilot (OFFICIAL VIDEO)[/ame]

Die Gruppe hatte Hamburg jüngst erst mit ihrem furiosen Mix aus Elektro und Hip-Hop als Abgesandte des Reeperbahn-Festivals im niederländischen Groningen vertreten. Ob die Band in dieser Funktion im März auch zum großen Festival SXSW in Austin/Texas reisen wird, ist offen. Dem Berliner Sender Fritz liegt ein offizielles Statement der Band vor, das den Tod ihres Produzenten verifiziert. Darin heißt es: "Wir müssen leider bestätigen, dass unser geliebter Freund Sebi Hackert am 21.02.2009 in seinem Zuhause in Hamburg verstorben ist.
