Plug_in_coldplaying
Here is the live version of Herbert Grönemeyer - Mensch. :nice: http://rapidshare.de/files/26855621/Datei.mp3.html Yeah, personally die Ärzte are one of the best bands! I really like their music. Now singer Farin Urlaub and drummer Bela B. are going their own ways but I really hope they will create new songs in the future. At Silvester there is a huge Ärzte open-air concert in Cologne. :wink3: thanks  yea,die Arzte is my fav german band too,Farin Urlaubs hair are super

Here are some videos of die Ärzte I found at Youtube.com... Larry
Today I read on a Dutch site that Wir sind Helden are very successful there, because during World Cup a TV channel always played their song "Wenn es passiert" at the end of every football show.
Ted
I was in Amsterdam this last weekend and we got MTV.de on our TV and they showed a Wir Sind Helden gig and I really liked them! They reminded me of The Zutons and Coldplay strangely and now I have downloaded some of their stuff. Are they popular in Germany or too "poppy"? Gitta Rensolo
They are popular in Germany...and not poppy....there are more seen as a band that makes good music....;)

Larry
Yeah, they're very popular in Germany and in some parts of East Europe. But they also performed twice in London last year. :nice: I saw them 2 month ago at the Hurricane Festival (just a few minutes before the heavy thunderstorm destroyed the area) and they were amazing! They also did a lot of jokes on stage. One year ago they performed at Live 8 in Berlin. BTW, Clueso's video of "Chicago"... :nice: http://www.clueso.de/fileadmin/clueso/video/musikvideos/chicago_high.wmv (Windows Media Player)

Larry
Sarah, you're lucky! I barely saw this video on MTV. Yeah, on national holiday Madsen is performing in Hamburg? :stunned: Hm maybe I will go to this concert, too. And the ticket price is ok I think.... 19,65€. BTW, Here is a free legal download of Tomte and "New York". ^^ http://www.tomte.de/download.php?file=_media/Tomte_NewYork_Single.mp3

Larry
Do you mean Clueso or Madsen? Clueso's song "Chicago" is a bit Indie I would say... Here's the video... http://www.clueso.de/fileadmin/clueso/video/musikvideos/chicago_high.wmv If you want to listen to the new video of Madsen click... http://www.madsenmusik.de/_popup/_prelistening_goodbye/_clips/v_duschreibst_300.html The song is called "Du schreibst Geschichte". *Sarah*
when I listened to madsen this morning I realized that "panik" totally reminds me of the old days - before they were called madsen and weren't that famous at all, hehe... I kinda got the feeling that the song already existed 4 years ago, but I can't really remember

cf
It's sad, that Madsen has always the same sound - a bit. "Du schreibst Geschichte" sounds just like the old album of Madsen.
