I think it's because of how much time they spent making X&Y, It took so long and people started to get bored, Then when it was finally realesed they realised that it wasn't as good as a lot of the reviews put it

can't blame it on the time lapse really.. look at Depeche Mode.. or U2 for that matter. This album really dissapointed me.. however, after seeing them live.. it did allow me to listen to the album a bit more... (more bearable I should say) :confused: Its an ok album.. but, I am not loving it like I did AROBTTH.
