I really like that song. It reminds of One I Love for some reason.

Huge fan of this song at the moment. So many people disliked it though which I found odd. It has that fast, energetic rhythm like Daylight or One I Love which is just great when Coldplay use it.

This is my current favorite Coldplay song, I just simply love it! I think the X&Y references are pretty cool in it.

This version of the song on the B-Side of Fix You is a completely different song to live version Ive heard a few years ago, has anyone else realised this, Why have Coldplay called this song World Turned when the reference isnt mentioned once, I think there playing with the real fans! I think the real title is Everything under the sun.

lol yeah that would be a good title too. But perhaps Coldplay want to avoid using a lyric from the song as a title. "Everything under the sun" reminds me of Eclipse by Pink Floyd. Anyone here know that song?

Yeah, I know the Pink Floyd song. It reminds me of it a little bit, but even if World Turned was called that it, it's still "poppier" sounding. If thats even a word.

I wholeheartedly agree. The title is totally messing with me head, considering there's a song already called 'The World Turned Upside Down'.

didn't like it that much in the beginning, but it's grown on me hugely. :)

Loved it from the first time I heard it.

 

Though, I've been listening very closely at the chorus... I have a feeling that the chorus is only sung once, but then the editors copied it and pasted in for the second time.

 

Chris's voice sounds exactly the same both times, so that's my reasoning.

I thought it was it was part of the new batch of songs that appeared on the tour along with "Moses", "Ladder to The Sun", and "Gravity"....until it was released and I heard it....

 

They premiered "YOUR World Turned Upside Down" at the Hollywood Bowl show in Los Angeles, CA when they played "Pour Me"....

 

....The Fix You B-Side is "THE World Turned Upside Down"....completely different song

 

....at one point I recall Mr. Martin saying that one of the songs would appear and the other would not as he thought it was rubbish....

 

....I think he meant "Your World Turned Upside Down" (live from Hollywood Bowl)....which is too bad, I thought it's really good....

 

....I guess that still doesn't change the fact that the song titles are pretty much the same....

My copy is REAL player and it Really sucks....

I think the actual title from the Hollywood Bowl gig is "THE World TURNS Upside Down"...not that it is really that big of deal (review COLDPLAY Live 2003 tour documentary). What is the scoop on the two versions?

Yes, I believe your right....I downloded it as Your World Turns it seems....It's pretty much the same name except for the 'Turns' instead of turned....

 

....They first played it at the 2nd Hollywood Bowl show in 2003 and played it quite frequently until the end of the Tour....

 

....It doesn't sound like the same song at all but is it possible it could've morphed into the FIX YOU - b-side "The World Turned Upside Down"?!?

Great track. Not my favourite, but a great song.

It's been two months since I first listened to it and I'm still addicted!

I love both tracks! On my playlist, I have Your World's Turned Upside Down @ Werchter, I think that is a festival and lyrics start " Can you hear that sound?" and then the Fix you B Side, The World Turned Upside Down. They are different so it just means more music to have and love at least to me. I am looking for the lyrics from the live song but can not seem to find them. And I believe that the b side would be amazing at a live show! I would so enjoy it and can picture everyone bouncing around because it is so upbeat. :)
