Arias this Weekend..this is perhaps the first time apart from the last one that i'm actually excited about it. :D

im excited about this years arias, but i have my maths hsc on monday morning! and i am so behind and have to study like hell! it suck! :angry: :angry:

haha yeah i had to do music theory in order to do my practical exams for violin. :cool:

 

and unfortuntely i didn't tape the aria's. i ended up watching it yesterday instead of studying! silly meee but can I just say, how great was it? i loved every minute of it! :blush:

oh i missed pretty much all of it. I saw Ben Lee's mad thankyou speech (which he didnt rattle of all the damn producers! ) Coz i was studying for my maths hsc exam 2 ! I was like 'next ad break im going to study..ok, next ad definately going to study :rolleyes: I think the other day i was more stressed out about not getting coldplay tickets than i have been about exams :P

i'm really disappointed today... i was gona see The Beautiful Girls( don't get the wrong idea its a band!!) they said the doors opened at 8.30 but when got to the place found out they started at 11.30 :o too late- now that my parents have given us this curfew no gigs after the trains stop running :dozey:

 

ahh well still looking forward to Wolfmother they'd better start early too :angry: i'm gona complain on The Beautiful Girls website!!

thing is bonnie, i tried to pick it up a few years ago and learn it on my own but um....it sounded horrible :stunned::worried2:

its out of tune but i can't tune it cause it one of those crappy ones where the pegs either don't stay unless you use chalk or the string breaks :dozey: i also wonder if its the correct size its a 3/4 i may have grown out of it ... what size do you play?

you would need a 4/4 now, a full sized violin. that's what i use too, i'm small aswell, but once you reach like a certain age, you need a full sized violin. if you stretch out your arm while you're holding the violin as if you're playing it, and curve your hand around the scroll at the top of the violin, it will show you if the violin is too big or too small. if your hand is heaps logner than it then it's too small. if your hand doesn't reach all the way when it's stretched, then it's too big.

 

but i'm pretty sure you'd need a full size since your 22 now :P
