anyone successful with the presale ticket?

read the thread seems like there has been a lot of confusion

Me either :/

Speaking of confused. That would be me.

When can you get tickets now? (iv givin up on the email..)

General sales are the 10th of october.

But i read something about the 6th of october. Can u get presale tickets any other way?

Sorry if that sounds a bit silly..

I wouldn't give up on the emails just yet.

I would hit the sack and wake up nice and early and try again. Until somone posts that they have succeeded and recieved an email then worrying is futile.

i just got an email saying that we will be informed if we got the presale tickets by tomorrow, and we have till 9th october to buy them. after that we have to go for general sale. so yeah.... now we know.

we won't get pre-sale emails until wednesday

"Thank you for registering your interest for tickets to see Coldplay in Australia next June/July.

The presale request form has now closed and we are currently processing all applications. There has been an amazing response and we

are trying to make sure we can offer as many fans the tickets they want.

If you have been successful you will receive an email on Wednesday 5th October with details of how to buy your tickets. You will then have until midday (AEST) on Sunday 9th October to complete your purchase.

If you do not receive an email on Wednesday it means you were not successful with your request.

Don’t forget that tickets can still be purchased in the general sale on Monday 10th October."

this is what the e-mail says that everyone got today. so looks like we have until wednesday.

also guys - richard ashcroft is the support act for sydney and melbourne or something according to another thread which makes it even more of a reason to get tickets! ;)

yay! i was so happy when i got that email! im still in with a chance!

yep :) but its not very comforting. it sounds as if the whole world over has applied for tickets

Coldplay have just announced Perth and Adelaide shows!

After urging Adelaide and Perth fans last week to keep heart, tour promoters for Coldplay's national Australian tour have now confirmed the two cities will be added to the tour.

Coldplay will perform the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 5th July and Perth’s Burswood Dome on Friday 7th July, 2006.

All other details, including on sale dates and ticket prices, are yet to be announced.

Michael Chugg, Executive Chairman of CHUGG Entertainment, said, “We’ve rushed the announcement ahead of locking down all the details because we didn’t want Adelaide and Perth to make interstate concert purchases without knowing that

concerts would be happening for them.

“At this stage, we’re able to announce the dates and venues and we’ll announce the other information progressively.”

Chugg did say that Adelaide and Perth would go on-sale later than the Australian east coast concerts, which open to general on-sale next Monday 10th October.

Tickets go on sale with a strict eight-ticket-per-transaction limit.

“We don’t know yet when tickets for Coldplay’s Adelaide and Perth shows will actually go on-sale; probably not for another month, but the concerts are confirmed,” said Chugg.

good news but arg the burswood dome is shit. it echoes like a canyon. it's probably worth paying to go over east for the fanatics :P

 fair enough

but at least the perth and adelaide fans get to see them! better than no concert at all ;)

chris was interviewed on the Cage- Triple M radio station today

he said the first time to Aus was great but the second time sucked :stunned: because of the media. He also wouldn't comment on what he sings to Apple. And when asked about him being the member in the spotlight he said he wouldn't be anywhere without the rest of the group just some tabloid husband

hope they find the tour better in 06.

any way while i was listening to interview a mouse scurried into my room i sat up on my bed and said MOUSE! it ran off, after the interview and a few more songs tha mouse came back again and i said MOUSE! and it ran off again...

i have a feeling that it was a coldplay fan and just wanted to listen to the interview
