You know guys. I really don't think this is anything to worry about. I think that some people don't really get their sense of humour. They are really sarcastic and dead pan. Fair enough, they probably are getting on each other's tits but they have spent the best part of a year with each other. It's being blown out of proportion. Based on how successful they are - even now - and also how well they performed at the EMAs I'm not worried! :D

I think the same now. although I was so damn worried last night (otherwise I would not have started this thread...) but today I think that the whole splitting up story is totally unrealistic. I mean, I saw them live last week. and they didn't look unhappy or something like that at all, it was all fine.

^yeah..maybe that's all. no biggie, just some problems are ocurring which can and will be solved, i mean, who doesnt have problems...even millionaires(as chris said about writing sad songs) :D

i dont think wills comment is a joke at all but it was just extremely exaggerated. They have had fights before and kicked will out tempotarily. I read a few weeks ago in the coldplayer on the official site they had a fight but were over it and now they were all better. So im not surprised at the fact that they might get tired of eachother at times.

if this were true, there is no way in hell that Will would tell this to the media. i think its either a misquote or the magazine purposely distorted what he said just to create an attention grabbing headline.

There were many bands announcing their band's end during world-tours.

If that sentence was meant seriously by Will (I don't think so), it kinda slipped out of his mouth or so. But that's not a big deal, I guess/hope - it would be way worse, if the band would be stuck in musical differences. That destroyed many bands, Pink Floyd for example.

But let's all hope, this won't happen ever :-)

omg, when I read this I was almost crying...but now I'm ok with all you people posts about this...you guys are right...It cannot be true...every single band has problems and lots of them are still unite for years... :) let's think positive!!!

They're all mature adults. With the kind of money they are making, and will continue to make, there not going to let some arguments get in the way. The thing that breaks up great bands is either time or other people.

 

Time: They get old, lose their fanbase, their albums get worse and worse.

 

Other people: On of them gets an offer from some guy, leaves the band.... One of them marries a bitch... (ie. Yoko Ono....)

Yep doesnt sound like anything serious. It got me thinkign tho, what would happen IF they did break up over something else maybe. I dont know what I'd do :o

That wouldn't be a barrier.. You can break contracts anytime, if you've got the money to do so ;)

^^^ My main reason for them not splitting would be... What would they do for the rest of their lives??? Given their desire to keep improving themselves (as people and in music), they couldn't just let it all go at their young ages and disappear... They'd have to keep on striving for something better... And i don't see anything that could possibly be better than the four of them together now, not even by a long shot.

the only reason they feel this way (if the quote is true)...is because they have been together for so long without a break...trust me...give em a month off and eveything will be back to normal

When I was at the show in September they had had a falling out prior to the gig.. Somehow, they sorted it out right on stage, and, I dunno, they were a band again. When people are in such close proximity and spend every waking hour together, this sort of thing is bound to happen, but even if it is true, you'll see, they'll work through it.
