Yeyyeyeyeeeee...a X-mas thread!!!! Just a place for me. :D I didn't go through all the posts here, but for some reason I've been X-mas crazy this year already for weeks. Normally I moan that all the fuss starts too early etc. This year I drive everybody nuts. I've started making X-mas cards. And actually me and mum did already some shopping 'cos we need to ship some presents early enough to the other side of the Atlantics. ;)

lol same for me. its half way through november and i was sweating from being outside talkign for 10 minutes...damn weather.

Beach and Christmas - a combination beyond my imagination. :o :stunned: Here it's almost snowing! It looks like snow, but since it's too warm it melts -> yucky slippery stuff. :/ But looks beautiful from the window while still in the air. :blush:

for this christmas I only want my family and friends....I don't believe a lot in all that "gift culture"

Here we have snowish white stuff and it's melting away, but some kids had made 2 snowmen which looked so funky. I took pics with my phone (that's why one needs cameraphone :idea2: :blush: ), too bad I don't have my cable here, so I can't put them on computer.

Oh and Xmas lights are up in many places (including my faculty!). Or I like to call them winter lights as they make the dark winter nicer (small yellow lamps on trees and buildings; more neutral, not that Xmassy).

well to be honest my family wont celebrate christmas since i lost 2 uncles 8 months ago :( so that means that the WHOLE family wont do anything, BUT actually i decided that life goes on and its too beautiful to be wasted after couple of months, so now i got an invitation to spend christmas with my friend and her family. hope it will be fun :D

Funny. I have a friend in New Zealand and she hates Xmas as well.

Some years I almost started disliking Xmas, but luckily I grew out of that phase. :P

I think there's far too much obsession with it. Last Christmas was my best-ever, and that's because I was lucky enough to be away skiing in Zermatt. The fact it was Christmas added to the atmosphere, but it wasn't a key factor.

Christmas is really a time for children IMO................................although I do love "Christmas dinner"!! :D

Yea I agree. It's just become a commercial occasion for businesses to make more money!!!!!

Christmas is fun. I get stuff. :D

 

But I'm leaving two days after, so I won't be able wallow in all my presents. :P
