There's a coffeehouse by my school called Woodstock Coffee House and it's great. I love to get the White Satin Mocha; greatest ever.

 

Anywho. I went there last night with my sister after seing Harry Potter (Which is cool enough as it is) because it was bitterly cold and we thought some coffee would hit the spot. So after we get our coffee and sit down in one of the couches there, guess what I hear playing? "Careful Where You Stand" by Coldplay! It was so cool! I hardly ever hear Coldplay songs in public, let alone a pretty obscure B-side (And one of my all-time favs)! It was so exciting to me that I shook my sister by the shoulder and made her spill some of her coffee. She said that it didn't even sound like Chris to her but I picked it up almost instantly. I have a radar.

 

And you know what ELSE? They serve and sell only fair trade certified coffee! I felt like I had to go shake someone's hand or something. I was so at home. :)

 

Anyone else have a cool little ancedote to share?

well i was in the drougstore buying myself a nose medice (i had alergy :( )... so i was walking around the secctions and stoped imediatly under the sound box (whitch was hang on the celing) because FOR YOU was playing !!!!!!

that was just very surprising for me......i couldn´t breathe properly...i was in a bad mood but hearing FOR YOU made my day better.....

hahaha. you guys are soooo lucky. my only story is when i was on vacation in key west, yellow came on at a steakhouse. being the kind, nice folk they are at key west, i asked the cute waiter if he could turn up the radio. sure enough, 5 seconds later, the volume was up all the way and the entire place was starring at me. but they didn't really mind. everything is so laid back there.

 

but once, at starbucks, they were playing x&y all the way through, and it just so happened to be the day i wore my coldplay shirt to practice. (yes, i got coffee on my way to an athletic practice. i'm insane.) and as you many or may not know, the tampa concert was cancelled so the barista and i had a long conversation about coldplay. he even gave me a free flavor shot. hehehe.

awesome story! lol. Someone must have a Coldplay fetish at that coffee house.

I have a fun little story. I was at a used bookshop with my friends and I saw this book on a shelf that said "Square One" which I thought was pretty funny by itself, but what's even wierder, is that on a completely different stack of books I saw a book called "What If?" and I thought if the next book I saw was "White Shadows" I would've been really freaked out. But still cool, eh?

ok, guess this might not resonate with most of you as I'm a bit older than many who post here but when ever I pop a Coldplay CD in the car player my 5 year old alway pipes up from the back seat, "Is that Coldplay?" They are her favs.

I had a collection of B-sides and live stuff on the other day and she says to me, "I love coldplay, they make songs sound magical."

Couldn't have said it better myself.

well on Tuesday i was taking an english test right and everyone had to be quiet so i heard music coming from the classroom nextdoor and i listen more closely and X&Y(the song) was playing and i was so hapyy..except i couldnt start singing along cause it was during a test..but that definatley made me feel better during the test and the rest of the day :D
