my math teacher is extra cool and lets us listen to headphones during class (even when she's talking) so one day I took an algebra quiz and played "X&Y" (the song)..Good karma. I got an A on the quiz :lol:

When I used to work at KFC, Moses was on the tape for a while. I used to stop work and stand under a speaker to listen. The speaker was in a really odd spot to stand though (up against a wall, next to the freezers).

Everyone thought I was weird. :P

yeah...moments like those are awesome...you feel ten feet tall or something. My ex serenaded me with a Coldplay song (sparks) as an apology.. I broke up with him for giviing such an ugly thought to sucha beautiful song. and for the bad things he did of course :rolleyes:

 

sometimes at weird stores at the mall where you dont expect it,....they play Coldplay songs...but that is rare and they are usually the more popular songs anyway....

One of the local public broadcasting stations in Boston uses "Don't Panic" in one of it's promos for nature shows. That one sort of surprised me. Who'd have thought the folks at PBS were so hip, lol!

WEIRDEST thing ever... a day or two after I read this topic and the posts in it, I was at work at Linens N Things, which plays a mix of very new stuff, 90's, 80's, 70's and such, and when Speed of Sound first came out, I remember hearing it while working quite a few times, but now I don't hear it at all anymore (that I can catch over other nearby noises)... and so now the Christmas music is going, I am in the receiving area in the back, and what should I hear but the first few piano notes from "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"!!! I stopped DEAD in my tracks, and thought "Ok wait, this could be someone else, not Coldplay", but lo and behold, it was the Coldplay version!! A HUGE smile spread across my face, I couldn't believe it!! It was awesome! I just cannot wait until I hear that song again at work! :) That's my Coldplay song story :)

Yeah. Whenever a Coldplay song comes on our radio, I normally ask people to hold on until it's finished....

i heard the hardest part on entertainment news or gossips on tv or something like that and i was shocked because x&y was just released when i heard that..pretty shocking for a gossip show to play that song..
