That the love for coldplay this year amongst us has reached a new level this year...

 

 

I watched them on TV last night in bed... and I had a smile on my face end to end...........

i completely agree. they just make me so happy!

maybe it's because they get more and more exposure so we get to see more backstage stuff and interviews. they're so funny when theyre just chatting together, and i love the fact that they really are all best friends.

I know sounds hard but it's true

Theres no other band that I would stay up until 1:30 in the morning to see (conan). Also theres no other band that could make me pay 340 bucks to see 2 days in a row. They're just awesome, and I love them more than ever.

^Me too bart! :) My love for them has totally escalated this year, for a few reasons. Mainly because of X&Y. That album turned my life around. Still amazes me how much it gets slated. :/

Then also because I started to 'follow' the band more, and come on here etc. And the more i learnt about the guys the more i loved them, they are just such a wonderful, normal bunch of guys, but with very wise, intellegent heads on their shoulders. Very good role models i'd say. :)

 

Almost everything i do revolves around them in some sort of way. My life would be pretty damn empty without them.

But yeah. watching Coldplay... it's one of those things where I'm smiling the whole time and I don't even realize it. I look so stupid. :lol: But I don't care -- it's Coldplay. :smug:

Yeah this year they have become so important to me. I don't think I have ever devoted my time and energy and even money to one single thing as much as I have with Coldplay. And the smiling thing is so true! If a video comes on one of the music channels then I stop what I am doing and I sing along. I even pretend to swing the light in Fix You! How sad is that?!?! :lol: Long may it continue!

But, like, what if Speed of Sound happened to be the last thing you saw before getting shot 9 more times and passing out from the blood loss?

I have the flu. Home from work today, feeling crap. Watch some coldplay vids and look at some pictures and I feel a lot better :D THEY HAVE HEALING POWERS! :lol:

It's crazy, because I found a book on Coldplay in my mom's closet that's obviously for me for Christmas and I felt really bac about finding it simply because it was Coldplay.

 

...Something weird like that.

 

I was scolding myself the whole time just because it was something to do with them. If it had been a book on... I don't know... astronomy or something I probably wouldn't feel bad at all.

 

That's really, really strange right? I have a problem. It's official.

 

ETA Just music in general makes me feel better, but Coldplay most especially. Whenever I'm feeling down, or upset or just sick, I always turn to their music. I agree: they do have healing powers.

 

Nobody else has a band quite like Coldplay.

they just make me feel so great and it may sound stupid but to me they're like my best friends. so funny and friendly. my friends dont understand tho. on the one hand its good cos its kind of my secret but then they take he piss out of it too. it's not fair!

They definatley have healing powers! If im really upset, they sort of clear my mind and help me see straight again. Like when i went away to South Africa, there were so many times (especially at night) when i felt so down and alone with homesick i just wanted to hop on a plane and go home. But then i'd put on some Coldplay and i'd feel so much better, and start thinking rationally again.
