I actually don't mind James Blunt. I don't own any of his music, but I've seen a bit of him here and there and he didn't bother me. But the fact that they're telling Chris Martin to "move over" pisses me off

 

I personally believe that solo careers and group bands can't really be compared

you know- it's not a harror for me...

maybe it sounds a bit controversial, but for me it's not important, which place in charts they have- music matters ;)

 

we all know, that Coldplay's music is not for everyone and it explains "only" second place.

for me X&Y is of course very good album, but IMHO is also most commercial of all, so i won't be disappointed, if they record 4th album, which will be in a 6th place in charts, but will be as good as Parachutes, or AROBTTH.

let Mariah Carey,James Blunt,Crazy Frog, or Westlife win all the charts- we all know that they never will be as good as CP ;)

 

I agree comepletly. But I have always loathed James Blunt and that song, so it makes it worth throwing a fit about in my case :lol: . If it was ANYONE ELSE (Except Robbie Williams or Greenday) I wouldn't care. I just hate Robbie and Greenday and Blunt so much I hate to see them win a victory over Coldplay.

 

But I do agree with you that it doesn't matter what the charts say. :)
