How are France doing? I can't say I'll miss him against Switzerland, even though I feel sorry for him if it's another terrible injury.

Cissé isn't a bad player, but I would have preferred Henry to be out for sure.

Well.....I can say about all this:

 

We can talk about it......for the next 4 weeks and then we know what happened...

in general I hope that this event will be a happy and peaceful thing....with great atmosphere in the stadiums...I'm sooooooo excited:dance:

Rooney gets World Cup green light

 

Wayne Rooney has been included in Sven-Goran Eriksson's World Cup squad, BBC Sport understands.

Rooney appears to have won the race to prove his fitness after breaking a metatarsal in his right foot while playing for Manchester United in April.

 

He has left on a flight back to Germany - which is due to land at Karlsruhe near Baden-Baden at about 2200 BST.

 

He had earlier spent two hours at a Manchester clinic while doctors studied the results of Wednesday's scan.

i think brazil's gonna win. ronaldhino is such a friggin HAUSS when it comes to soccer. the whole team is brill. it'd be pretty cool if england won though, i like them too. yay for michael owen! :)

 

it's would be AWESOME to see the US get into the semifinals though. we crapped out in quarters last time. bah.

Brazil has many possibilities (it's obvious), but I think England or Italy will win.

it was insane ... and all the cool guys wore tricots ... (but prolly fake ones :P )

Techically I think Brazil may be the best...but I really think England stands a good chance this year. I think the upcoming match with Sweeden will tell the tale for the rest of the tournament.
