Working Experience

Featured Replies

do you call it 'working experience' in english?

i mean the time (when you're still at school) in which you have to "work" in a certain job for three weeks.

well, i'm doing my working experience in a sound studio and i'm already quite excited (it starts on the 16th of january!).

i love the feeling of being a little more independent ... the good thing is that "work" starts at 10 ... :D

they really want me to work ... which means that they'll give me real tasks and i don't just have to make their coffee. i like the fact that they're serious bout it .... hope they won't exploit me though :dozey:

what about your working experiences?

where did you work and how was it?

good luck!!!

Yeah we call it Work Experience at my school.

My friend was in a sound studio, he had a blast.

I did mine at a journalism place, kinda nervous the entire time, didnt like it very much and I still dont like the idea of working there now (Which I still do from time to time).

mine was boring... i was in an office... we call it work placement i think...

I don't have to do that...

Then again, the education system in America sucks the big balls. Maybe that's why we're all so stupid.

we have to do that only when when we are ending the university.. so.. I have to wait some years

well, we do it twice...

in grade 9 and 12 ;)

oh.. that sounds cool!

I don't have to do that...

I heard that 95% of Geography in American schools focuses only on, American geography.

yeah, we can also go to foreign countries and do our working experiences there in grade 12 .... i'm looking forward to that one ;)

I don't have to do that...

wow, that's why they think that Europe is just one single country ...

I did it in a post office. It was very boring and most the time, I just talked to the people, who worked there.

I don't have to do that...
