LunarSolar
Low: This videos depicts a stray cat wandering through he night looking for anyone who would take him to a happy home. He was being shooed by some. FInally, a girl picked her up and brings him home.Ā Square One: Kinda like Two More Years by Bloc Party but the guys are playing in front of the spotlight throughout the song, so all you can see of them is their silhouette. The lights flashed different colours.

Bace
Hmm, well I wouldn't mind making one for The Hardest Part! It would be a simple video featuring all of the band, out in some sunny place.. Kinda like the Yellow CDS-cover! Lots of slow motion, and of course the band playing out in the nature as well.. At the same time some story being showed, maybe about a girl or something. I haven't figured that out yet. :P Either way, it should be simple, pretty and sunny.
Silverspira
Liked the idea with White Shadows a lot, the boy with the white shadow, i like. Ā I know that The Hardest Part is going to be the next single, that should be somethibng about sad love but still seing a light through it all...Ā Buy anyway: I've been having this idea about making a video for A Message.Ā You see the band, they're young and broke, at a pretty empty subwaystation. Jonny has a acoustic guitar, Will has drumsticks and I don't know what Guy should have 'cause a bass doesn't fit in. Well, they don't have any money so they are looking through the trashcans and a man in a suit walks by and just drops a empty cup of coffee on the ground (the ones made of paper), he walks away. Chris looks at him walking away and picks up the cup, he take out a pen out of his pocket and writes something on the cup. A subway comes. The guys walk in.Ā The music doesn't start until now, Jonny starts strumming the guitar and Chris starts singin "My song is love, love to the loveless shown..." The subway is full of people. The people doesn't even look at Coldplay, a man is reading the paper and lot of people are just staring out of the windows. They are well-dressed (you're supposted to see that they are rich). And when "im not gonna take it back" comes Chris starts jumping around and Will are drumming on seats and stuff. And I kind of have an idea that you see images of poor people dying and war and so. And then I don't know but in the end they walking around with the cup which people are supposed to put money in (no one gives any money) and on it it stands "Did You Get The Message?"Ā I don't know if it's good but that idea have been cirkulating in my head for a while. Lera
I wish it was Square One,where man goes somwhere, and he is running in circle, and in the end of the video he hits the ground in the same place where he started his running and he lies and looks in the sky and sings"Still anybody out there who..."etc.

ApproximatelyInfinite
My choice would have to be Swallowed in the Sea, and the vid would have Chris walking down a street "a thousand houses long" in it, but i'll work on creating the rest of the vid in my mind
Silverspira
Thanx Lunarsolar :) Ā I'm wondering what The Hardest part video is gonna be like...
LunarSolar
They will air the video for The Hardest Part this Wednesday. The video was shot at a yatch marina in Florida. Apparently, there are 'very special dance routines' and some senior citizens somehow involved in the video. A family member of the band member will make a cameo appearance in the video. yamfox
If I made Square One a Video, I'd have a teenager, run away from home,Get on a boat, but the German army is on the sea too, think he's a spy, and sink his boat. Then at the end, His Mother figures out,And Kills Herself.**JUST A THOUT**
LunarSolar
Hmmm... I think that's too dark for Coldplay. Maybe for My Chemical Romance? (oh, yes, I've seen their videos)
ApproximatelyInfinite
Ok, I've thought of my "Swallowed in the Sea" video. It's not as good as some of the others I've thought of in the past, but it'll have to do for now.Ā It starts off with Chris sitting at an outdoor cafe in a city, reading a newspaper or something. He looks up and across the street to rest his eyes, and his gaze falls upon Gwyneth Paltrow crossing the street. He's obviously in awe of her. She sits at a nearby table at the cafe and orders a coffee or whatever and pulls out her cell phone. She starts to dial, but notices someone staring at her and looks up. Her eyes meet Chris's and their gaze locks for a long moment. She slightly smiles shyly and turns back to her phone. Time passes and she gathers her things and gets up to leave. Chris hurriedly pays his bill and dashes off to follow her. The camera cuts to Gwyneth walking down the sidewalk, with Chris following about a block behind. Gwyneth turns into a book store, and Chris follows too when he reaches the door. The next shot is inside the bookstore, with Gwyneth browsing the shelves. Chris is watching her, his eyes peeking over a book that he doesn't notice is upside-down. He notices her coming over and quickly becomes very interested in the book. She has a playful yet shy smile on as she meets his eyes. She flips the book around right-side-up and hands it back to him. He looks embarrassed as hell, but she laughs good-naturedly, and so does he. Cut to the two of them, walking and laughing together in a park at dusk, eating pizza slices off wax paper. Gwyneth stops and stands in front of him, very close, and it looks like they're going to kiss. But she hands him a bit of paper and walks away, smiling over her shoulder like the happiest person in the world. Chris watches her, open-mouthed. Once she's gone, he looks at the bit of paper, which has her number and address on it in loopy writing. He looks up and smiles broadly. Next shot is and aerial view of Chris walking down a long residential street at night. The only light is from the houses' windows and dim streetlights. The camera angle shifts from aerial to normal as the song goes on. Chris has the bit of paper in his hands and is looking at the number of every house. He suddenly stops; he's found the house. There's a long shot of the house. The only light on is in the upstairs window on the right. Chris begins to throw pebbles at the window from the front yard, and after a few Gwyneth opens the window and sticks her head out. They smile at each other for a moment, and Gwyneth signals for Chris to wait a second. After a few moments she comes out the front door and meets him in the front yard. They kiss passionately, with the camera going in a circle around them. As the song winds down, the two break apart and smile at each other. Chris takes her hand and they walk down the sidewalk, hand in hand, away from the camera (so we get a back view). Fade to black.Ā So it's not terribly exciting or anything, but it's what I came up with for the song. Actually, most of the tracks on X&Y don't really put stories in my mind too much, as most other songs in the world do, so this was harder than it usually is for me to come up with these things. I had a really great video idea for "Fix You" that I wrote right after hearing the album for the first (maybe second) time, which I might post later (I think it was pretty cool, anyway). Anyway. There's my thoughts on it.
