Okay, I can honestly say that I can die a happy person now! I have actually touched Chris. When he ran behind the sound boards and up a small stage during In My Place, it was right in front of my seat! I had my hand on his shoulder while he was singing!! My heart was pounding so hard, I forgot to take a picture, although I did take one a few seconds later when he was 3 feet in front of me (from the back).

 

Okay, now that that is out...

KROQ will be replaying the concert streamlined on their website on Monday night. Hopefully someone will capture the audio and visual and post in the multimedia section.

 

On a side note, I have to say that "How you see the world" is an amazing song, and live it is even better. I still don't understand how this song did not make it on X&Y (except Japan release) and the Hardest Part did.

 

Okay also I don't know if anyone else saw this, but when they played swallowed there were visuals of written lyrics and words that filled the screen. I noticed a song list that read:

1. things I don't understand

2. tallie

3. what if

4. hardest part

5. swallowed

 

Looks like they had a song called "tallie" that never made it to the final version. My guess, it was during some of the early recording sessions of X&Y.

 

Anyway, that's my report!!!

Holy friggin' sh*t! That was the most surreal day of my friggin' life!

 

I managed to sneak my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT into the concert. :wink3: Actually, I didn't sneak it in--I walked past the security into the venue and they didn't even do a bag check--we were the first ones there. o.o

 

So yeah, I have a hell of a lot of pictures, which I'll upload soon.

 

I got caught with the camera, but the dude just said to put it away, and... i took pictures anyways. :lol:

 

The concert was awesome! I was in Loge 11 Row K--that's a whole lot closer to the stage than I thought it was! Oh man! That's so much closer than the lawn in Irvine last summer. :lol:

 

And Johnny's little singing solo--so awesome! And his guitar solo type thing was awesome too--I think it was during GPASUYF? I forgot. :lol:

 

I have a few videos also, but they're kinda crappy. I'll try to upload them anyways.

 

OH! And SERJ from System of a Down was sitting in the freaking seat behind me! I tried to get a picture without looking stupid or anything, but I didn't wanna just turn around and take a picture of him, lol.

 

After the concert, I asked him if he was Serj from System of a Down, and he said "Yeah, nice to meet you" and he shook my hand. oh em gee. 0_0

 

Then I started walking out, and I realized I didn't have a freaking picture of him! I turned around and managed to get a blurry picture of his back. :lol: Damnit.

 

And... when I turned around, my sister and the group I was with friggin' dissappeared, so I went just decided to exit the venue and meet them outside.... but I went out the wrong exit--I couldn't find them for about 30 minutes, lol.

 

I'm not in a post-concert depression--I'm in a freaking post-concert high! Like coldplayismygod said, I can die friggin' happy! (thanks for posting the set list, btw)

 

So, I'm gonna go upload the pictures and stuff...

OMFG you guys got TROUBLE?!

I know! Us in Sac didn't get Trouble or Rush of Blood To The Head... But we did we green eyes... But I was able to see Trouble at San jose, and it was amazing. Chris on the piano on that song is simply beautiful....

 

Any sightings of Gwyneth there last night? lol
