Im not, hell no. For years I just ran with it, not really caring about God or religion but now Ive dumped Christianity completely. Intense contact with religion did not work for me so I have decided its just not real (Obviously not the only reason).

I don't believe in religion for myself. I was raised in an incredibly devout Catholic family and believed in it until I was around 11 or 12. I went to Catholic schools from the age of 4 till 18. They can feel your head w/ a lot of bullshit.

Now, I see religion as a belief system that some people need in their lives, which is cool with me. Whatever you choose to get through life is understandable.

I just don't feel I need a certain religious belief to get through my life.

Religion can be respectful in the sense that it can teach good morals and values, but it can also seriously brainfuck you.

I tend to not say I'm religious because being caught religion can take away fromt he core believe..I do believe in God..I was raised up as a Christian Pentecostal...but if I was raised up Chrsitian I'd prolly lean towards Buddhism..

But I do believe in God and He is very real to me.. I dont go around trying to indoctrinate ppl..but I voice my opinions most of the time from a biblical point of view..I try to stare away from saying that my branch of chrisitanity is right..I just focus on the bible and my spiritual life.. :shrug:

I think that is incrediably respectable. :)

i am a christian. not to sound cheesy :-D , but its insane for someone to love everyone no matter what they do and care about everyone and jesus does. its incredible to me, that if at school or anywhere you feel left out or inferior there is always someone who cares about you more than anything even when you feel like you could die,when it seems like no one is your friend. no i am not at all a polyester-wearing goofy religious person liek the people on those channels, bc i think thats all a load of crap, but i do believe in god and i just think its so insane for someone to love everyone. :D

why does religion matter here? im afraid to answer. just saying i like Bush caused a big ass. i dont want to start another. all your doing is leading yourself down the wrong path, which you will regret. and causing people to get hurt. :(

Im a very big christian i go to babtist church on sundays and wednesdays and when im feeling bad i always feel that god will be there.....i dont hate ppl who dont belive in god.....their decision...but im a very religious person....and when i cuz.....i always feel bad.....b/c i feel like um being judged...i dont know but anyhoo...im a christian BUT im not at a point where i can say im at one with god....im sure i need to be saved again but im not at the point yet.....soon maybe....but god helps me alot.... :shrug: so im a christain and baptist :)

and i agree with you that god loves everyone and to know that that exist gets me through the bad dayz! hes an everlasting friend :-D

how many times? sundays and sometimes on wednesdays, and during easter, lent, christmas holidays....

 

 

HOWEVER, l am not some religious manic who thinks their own religion is the best. no, thats the stupidest thing, when people are egocentric!....l think religion is something we all created and we all follow by. and l think also, it gives us all some sort of thing to believe in and well, l think hope.

sadly, to be honest, l think we are all going to cause our own defeat, l am not saying this as particular individuals, or lm not even targeting the board, however its just my own opinion. l mean, look at what is going on with wars? and particular countries who have been fighting since history can recall? its all so sad

and sorry to everyone who loves their religion immensly...l am not saying l hate my own. l am saying it would reduce A LOT of pain and havoc we all live with.....with all the prejudice in the world and all the hatred.

because sometimes, there are certain things we should express about, because to me, so far it seems everyone here is all very MATURE so...l know that no one will say anything cruel or mean .

i am and was bought up a christian since... i was born, and i go to church occasionally. I really do belive we were put on this earth for a reason, its so easy just to live for 80 years and not live for anything.

What do you lot think happens to you after death? i feel it cant just be nothing because otherwise there would be absoultly no point in being here.

I really dont want to come accross as a crazy cheesy bible basher, i just think if you look in detail to Christianity it all adds up.

I was born a Baptist Christian, but my Mum has always said it's my decision and she told me that when I was old enough I would be able to make up my own mind and decide for myself about what religion I want to be and whether or not I wanted to be religious at all...

When I was 10 my nan died and we all went to church alot after that...thats when I started to lose mny faith...I can't explain what it was I just didn't feel religious anymore...

So now I'm nothing...I feel for myself religion is to complicated however I have great respect for others who are religious, all of my friends for example are religious (many of them muslim and a few christian)..it just doesnt work for me.

I'm not religious at all... I don't really believe in religion, I just pick whatever is closest to my heart, which is Judaism so I'm basically Jewish. Don't believe in God or any other crap for that matter though... just label myself as one. :shrug: Religion has never been something I was ever close to, I'm as far as it could get.

I'm a Protestant because I was baptized when I was only some months old.

However, when I went to Confirmation classes at the age of 14 I had to go to church every Sunday and I HATED it. I didn't wanna do something I was forced to and there was no reason to go on with it. I had my Confirmation because everyone had and because you got money for it.

 

But I'm not religious. Don't believe in God. I don't like the thought that something that powerful exists.

And I really think religions are completely out of date now. They don't fit and they cause a lot of trouble.

 

Btw. I don't mind this thread. It's absolutely okay to tell your opinion.

i'm not religious ... and at the moment i think that there really is absolutely no point in being here (only my impression when i look at our lil world).

but i understand ppl believeing in god, sometimes i tend to do aswell...

Maybe there's no point in being here, but I like it anyway. Have a good time and make the best out of your life.

i've kinda got this Theravada Buddhism thing going on, but i wouldn't call myself a Buddhist. not yet anyway.

My ethics teacher told me, you can't call Buddhism a religion :-o

buddhism is a nice religion, i used to be intersted in it at times...but it's not my thing :shrug:
