June 24, 200917 yr Hard choice...U2, R.E.M., RHCP, and Radiohead were all great...but my favorite album of the 90s was Pearl Jam's "Ten." It might be my favorite album ever. Your so right:D Its amazing, and not even in the list:shocked2:

June 24, 200917 yr Oasis and The Verve both deserve to be included, but Morning Glory was way better than def/maybe IMO. Urban Hymns had some really great songs but its not a great album. It ran too long and got diluted by weaker tracks and very similar songs.

June 24, 200917 yr Are you saying Ok Computer didn't have a cultural impact? yes. nowhere near as much as oasis(morning glory) and nirvana(nevermind). Ok computer is a great album, but radiohead was never the most important band or biggest band in the world. Oasis and nirvana both were for a time. Radiohead has always been a great band, but they didnt have a cultural impact. Tell me how they did if thats how you feel.
June 24, 200917 yr i know this forum is full of radiohead diehards, and i too love alot of radiohead albums and songs, but they were not as culturally important as nirvana or oasis...that is a fact. its similar to comparing bands like pink floyd and the beatles, many people think that musically pink floyd was far better, but they were not as influential as the beatles. and in my opinion if im thinking of the best rock album that represents the 90s it is nevermind (although i like in utero better) and morning glory, not ok computer.

And NO band had a bigger cultural impact on the 90's more than Nirvana, and that's a fact. Now who was better musically that's just a matter of personal opinion. But Radiohead did had a lot of inlfuence on many artists. The Bends for example. Many artists tried to achieve that sound (with their own touch of course). And then OK Computer...
