What Magazines Do You Read?

Featured Replies

So what would you be reading then mark....markazines?

I bought Cosmo and Vanity Fair once like 3 years ago just to see what the deal was all about....I haven't forgiven myself to this day. The most ridiculous articles about how to kiss, how to wash yourself.....lame

I don't read magazines much...

We keep receiving my uncles subscription to Interview magazine, and he doesn't really care.... apparently. Pretty interesting.

I don't read them too often, but when I do, it's usually a lot of Star Magazine, AP Magazine, Lucky, Teen People (From time to time), and others depending on what their cover story is. =P

Filter's my favorite. I bought the issue with Coldplay last summer and the article was so incrediably well written I've been hooked ever since. I have piles of National Geographics all over my room and Time mags under my bed. :laugh3: I also subscribe to ChopTalk, the Braves magazine and my dad got some deal where he got a free subscription with Spin... but I hate it. Blah.

I also occasionally pick up Discover or Physcology Today because I'm a huge dork like that. I'm supposed to be buying gossip mags and those girly magazines with make-up hints and spring fashions but I guess I'd rather learn about a new planent in our solar system.

I do own the issue of Vouge with Gwyn on it though along with the Rolling Stone with Coldplay on the cover. :P

Ah, but you get free Brylcream with every subscription to SPQ.

Well that offer can't be overlooked. For the price you pay they really are a good buy and once your subscribed, you get the first 3 issues free and a free cosmetic/grooming kit!

I read a lot of magazines. I tend to read them early morning on the weekends and I also read the local newspaper. But for magazines, I read

- Time Magazine

- Entertainment Weekly

- Playstation Magazine

- XBox Magazine

- Vanity Fair

and I read whatever other magazine catches my eyes. If it has Coldplay on the front cover I'll buy it. If it has anything that might interest me I buy it. I read a lot of books too. Right now, I'm reading Harry Potter the 4th book. I'm almost done with it, only about 5 more chapters to go

if there's someone interesting in GQ i'd take a look at it...

I'm not a big magazine buyer, but when I do I get Q and the odd movie mag. I only buy they because its a pretty good bet I will read them from cover to cover.

I read mostly movie magazines: Premiere, Entertainment Weekly and the likes. I buy them if they feature someone interesting, otherwise it's just read-and-go.

Also, have this insane love for Flaunt magazine (http://www.flaunt.com/). I can't describe what it is really for but the quality of the print and the pictures (I'm a sucker for also print ads) are so gorgeous I can't help but buy them sometimes. It's unfortunate they are quite pricey here.

I'm female but I really hate those fashion magazines aimed at females ("Lose weight in 10 days!", "How to orgasm!", etc). I do, however, love GQ, male version of nonexistent female intelligent magazine, for their content and features. Fantastic fantastic and I do have a few copies of those, both US and UK.

I don't usually buy music magazines but I do have two issues of Rolling Stones at home. They feature actors though, lol. I can't gush over musicians much, not even Coldplay :O

Hmm...let's see...

Men's Health

National Geographic

Dylan Dog & Martin Mystere are not magazines, I suppose...?
