im not surprised, u2 has seniority... and since it is the grammys, that is almost more important than content

I don't really think they should've been in the rock category anyways. I think the only reason why they were put there was because of how popular they've gotten.

 

I agree that U2 is amazing, but their new album really wasn't that impressive.

 

But I do agree that everyone in the category was well deserving and it's better to lose to U2 than to anyone else. :)

well, though i was almost about to burst out into tears when i saw u2 winning, i gotta admit that they also deserved that award ...

 

you know, coldplay is such a young band in comparision to u2 and i am pretty sure that they're gonna be up there winning all those grammy someday too ...

U2 is like fine wine. They get better with age. It's too bad for them that I don't drink alcohol.

 

I wouldn't worry about the losses. They've got the age factor working for them. People will warm up to Coldplay. Haven't seen the last of them I'm sure. :lol:

yah the grammys always pick favs and i think that this year it was u2, even though it was an old album... and isnt it weird and messed up that they won album of the year AND rock album? i mean honestly, throw me a freaking bone.... give the rock to coldplay, they deserve it
