February 17, 200620 yr :stunned: I'm not gay... neither is he lol however.. we did date at one point in our lives.. so I guess we got that all out of our systems. so basically.. he wasn't that great in the sack so.... we don't have that problem. :) Do you use that as emotional blackmail if he ever annoys you? :P
February 17, 200620 yr I have a female friend who I am really close to and I can share secrets and deep thoughts with and I love her to bits and I wouldn't want to ruin that option by going out with her even though I really would love to someday. We share advice on relationships and all sorts but at the end of the day I know deep down that being really good friends for a long long time beats a short relationship that would always be on your mind with you seeing them as "your ex" afterwards rather than my great friend. Just my thoughts anyway...
February 17, 200620 yr do you never think "she could be the one?" though? I mean, yeah... 17 is young (I'm 17 in 48 minutes... :P) but you never know when you meet the right person. Could be 13, could be 30. Surely you must think "What if?". But, if you think it'd ruin the friendship, play it your way. :)
February 17, 200620 yr Happy birthday Jack pal! Hope you have a goodun. You are my favourite Geordie you know... :D Interesting topic for debate...she could very well be the one but she is taken at the moment and I have my eye on someone else so we'll see...What If is probably what sums me up as a person! My mind wanders to extraordinary lengths about the future and what it holds...good old Coldplay naming a song about me... :D

February 17, 200620 yr I wonder that aswell. :P I have little thoughts in my head where I just think about my future (it's always extremes though, like... how I'm gonna die, stuff like that). I daydream. :P Oh, and thanks about the birthday thing (and the fave geordie bit) :D How is being 17? :P
February 17, 200620 yr Most of my male friends, yeah I've found some attractive, but I always kept it just friends. More like a brother-sister thing ya know. :D Though right now there is a guy friend of mine that I have feelings for, but it's complicated. :( Isn't it always though...
February 17, 200620 yr Being 17 is great! You start noticing girls and you get hair where you never used to have it before...not long and I'll be shaving and maybe even talking to to the girls I've been noticing. :sneaky: Hehe only kidding mate! It is good enough...driving is a bonus even though I am yet to start learning...really need to get on with that!

It is good enough...driving is a bonus even though I am yet to start learning...really need to get on with that! I laughed out loud.... Hahahaha :D Yeah... I'm getting driving lessons. That's why I won't be getting much for my birthday. Just.. little things. Like, shaving stuff (OMG) :P Oh, and we're off topic.. So... My problem is I get to know people and then fall in love with their personalities, but the reason I don't start anything is incase, as you said, it spoils the friendship. Difficult situation :/
February 17, 200620 yr Yeah see with this girl I had always known her just not really closely and me being my silly self rushed into it one night over the internet. The lager didn't help my cause but that is another story...it had been like 3-4 weeks of becoming closer and I just plain told her that I really liked her and the whole more than friends cliche and she said she didnt feel the same way. I apologised the next day for being too forward and generally being a bloke about it. But now we are the best of friends and we have never mentioned that dreadful evening...I think my problem is I get too attached to people too quickly which is why I need to take it slow with this other girl I mentioned...who knows where it might lead. Agrre with you on the spoil friendship thing there Jack. Spot on.
February 17, 200620 yr It's ALL about whether they like you back. If they don't... and you ask them... It's like ... 30second friendship ender. Unless you have proof of intoxication and you can blame it on that :P "Uhh... someone else hacked my MSN account and said all that stuff!"
February 17, 200620 yr HAHAHA!!! The hacking line! :P Anyway Jack good to chat about these things...feels good to tell someone else but I am off to bed. Going to Kent early tomorrow morning so I will bid you goodnight! See you pal and best of luck against Southampton...should be easy... :D
February 17, 200620 yr Haha yeah I'll be there shouting out against the scummers :D Catch ya later mate. Gnite.
February 18, 200620 yr I suck so bad with the opposite sex. most the women i know are like a bigger sister.....

I was actually best friends with his brother.. then we hooked up.. dated for about 2 years.. then called it quits. So, kinda like what you said but backwards. :P
February 18, 200620 yr I met a girl last quarter and we did a group project together. This quarter we have all classes together, and have gone to eat as friends a few times, and she invited me to her apartment to cook for me and study together. Yet there's still this vibe she gives me that I shouldn't expect to be anything more than friends. At times we get silent and neither of us know what to say. We have a lot in common, so maybe I bore her. When we do hold a conversation, we're comfortable around each other and can easily make eye contact. I'd definately date her if she wanted to, and it sucks when she flirts a lot with other guys right in front of me. :( But I'm not her boyfriend, so I can't be so possessive.
February 18, 200620 yr Author I have the fear of going out with someone I liked a lot as a friend, and then screwing up our relationship, and leaving them on bad terms, that would really hurt. Right now I'm in one of those situations, and I want to keep my friendship with her, but then again, should I go for it? I could be happier, y'know. reilly who is this? Who are you talking about? get this later ok. night
February 18, 200620 yr I tend to find myself getting along with guys a lot. Ugh. I could never imagine myself going a level higher with my guy friends. My best guy friend, I've known since I was 8, and he's like a brother. But I do have amazing girl friends. :)
February 18, 200620 yr I think that frindship between girl and boy is much better and more interesting than between two girls or two boys....about me,we have a company of me and three guys, and we are really like brothers and sister :)
February 18, 200620 yr ^ I know you.. don't I?? Julia Stiles??? Yeah, same Jason as the colplay.com forums. Except I've kind of migrated towards Kirsten Dunst now, as I have a collage of her in my sig on those boards.

If she reacts by kissing you, then you know. :P
February 18, 200620 yr I met this guy a few months ago, and meeting him was like one of those things where you go to yourself, this is the guy i want to date! obviously i couldnt actually say that but for the next few months we got on like a house on fire and became the best of mates. even apon meeting my mates for the first time he blended in like he'd been friends with them longer than i have!!! but then all the while he had a gf which he had start dating like a month after i met him...so i had to work at being best mates. if i told him that i liked him it would have probably made everything alot more complicated. one of my friends one day asked me to describe my "ideal man", and as i started to tell her i realised that i was describing this guy. it was weird, i guess you have to look at it as taking a risk, because the outcome is going to be different everytime
