Like, for plays or film and such. As an actor.

 

I have participated in drama stuff since I was little but I never felt I could actually act really. But two guys I know are writing an idea for a series and I got reading for it on camera and they were pretty impressed, we're going to begin filming tomorow (I actually read for it a long time ago and only just got reminded of it).

 

So I guess I can.

I think I could if I wanted to. But I've never joined drama because the program at my school sucks.

 

I did have the lead in the 2nd grade Magical School Bus play. Whoo! That was my shining moment.

I'd rather direct. :smug:

 

I used to think I could act, but then no matter how well I auditioned, I'd always get stuck with crappy roles like the aging mother with one line. Blah.

No,I used to visit drama club for two years,where we were acting,playing and singing,but every perfomance killed me,I had a real fear of stage,so I suppose If I was an actress,I would play only in movies

yeah, a little. my friends says im good but my used-to-be coach on the drama group at school said sometimes i suck. im still on his list 5 most people who can act the best.

im quit now. it's kinda boring :dozey:

I want to act for my career. I've been in every play at my school since 2nd grade, I even wrote one in 5th grade. Now I'm in high school. I'd say I can act decently. I have to be at least a good actress and funny to be on SNL... (my dream.) O:

I'm not sure. If I happen to be acting when I joke around with friends, they think I'm good, but you know. I've never been in drama and I've never had a pro judge me or anything.

 

I always thought acting would be really fun though.

im proud to say that i rekon im pretty good at acting. just had a whole lot of drama assessment and got top of the class for it so i was pretty stoked!!!! i go into school plays and whatnot and jump in for interhouse comps. its so much fun everyone has gotta give it ago and it really helps those people who want to get more confidence about them!!

Well I've been up since early, shooting is finished for today. It was pretty hard work, kinda boring too at the same time.

whats the script about? and who do you play in the whole production?

Its about being in university, it's actually not about anything in particular, just pointless university life. It is in the style of The Office (BBC program) in terms of being a 'real life documentary' that is actually being acted out, as a comedy.

 

The 4 main people are me, kinda depressed lazy guy who could've been a pro footballer and is throwing his life away, another guy who is vain and goes to the gym, and another guy who is super lazy, as well as a girl who plays like this hippie who is kind of seeing the lazy guy (In the show of course).

 

The hippie girl cracks me up so much, thank god I dont have to do a scene with her because I wouldnt stand a chance.

I think I can act.........I used to take part in dramas when i was younger....always had fun in things like that......I'm in the local drama group.....I was the prompter last time.....next time I want to act!

Well I think I'm pretty good,when I need to pretend I'm sick to not go to school...That's all my talant haha...Btw,I generally like to lie very much,it scares me sometimes.

I played at school in 6th grade and when I was like 15.. that was fun but I have not so much talent.. hehe

My media studies project involves making a short film. It's the opening minutes of a sitcom. The group has 4 of us, one cameraman, one star actor, and 2 supporting actos/directors. I'm one of the supporting.

I took part in an audition for a tv show... they said I was really good. But so far they didn't call me if I'm in the next round :( Acting is not my main talent, but when it comes to the point I think I'm not THAT bad.

I played footie with one of the directors earlier (He couldnt be there this morning on my first day of shooting) but hes already seen the un-edited shots of my reading and he kept complimenting it. He genuinely seemed, really impressed.
