The fact is that it’s pretty amusing and great to see John being a very talented frontman and songwritter. In The Libertines he was nothing more than a good but very quiet bassist. Now he’s free from Pete’s and Carl’s shadow and wow he’s fucking brilliant. Who would have thought that he would be as talented as his famous former partners ?
