Ok so here’s what happened from the start!

8.15, arrived at Proud. The guys&girl I live with came with me in the end, wahooo!

Got a drink, scanned the room, no Didz in sight. Was still pretty early. Sat down with everyone and listened to the music, while freakishly scanning the room like a stalker for what seemed like ages. Saw Analissa walking about quite a lot…Jesus that woman is even more stunning in the flesh, just absolutely gorgeous.

Then all of a sudden a little while later I look over at the bar and there’s Didz stood talking to Analissa. :shocked2: OMFG. You should have seen me, I was a total & utter mess. I didn’t know what to do with myself. I went over to the bar and got a drink but didn’t want to interrupt their convo, so thought I’d wait ‘til later to try and speak to him.

Sat back down for a while whilst some bands played, then I got up to go and show Andy, one of my flatmates where the gent’s toilet was. We went into the other room, just as we did Didz is leaving to go to into the bathroom. Andy follows him into the toilet. (lmfao that sounds funny :uhoh: :lol: )

Andy comes out with this sheepish look on his face and stands next to me. Then there’s a tap on my shoulder and it’s DIDZ. Omfg. He said “hi!” and shook my hand and then just leaned over and kissed me on my cheek. Just like that, out of nowhere. :dead:

I must have looked so fucking shocked, my expression was hysterical no doubt. Then he said “you alright?” and I was like “yeah yeah, great thankyou!” and how good it was to meet him, and I couldn’t wait to see them at Brixton. He said “well, I’ll be there!” and winked then walked off. OH GOD.

Seriously, I walked away just shaking with pure joy for about 15mins, lmfao. My hands were trembling, it was crazy. Such a rush.

So Andy tells me that when he was in the toilet Didz was stood getting changed from his cute stripey black&white jumper into a shirt (yes, my flatmate saw him topless, woot! Ahaha) and he chatted to him for a bit and then said “My mate stood outside really really admires you, would you mind speaking to her?” and apparently he was more than glad, bless him. Seriously, I owe Andy big time. I was just so touched that he did that for me, I got really emotional. What a total legend.

So then later on, I was walking to the bar and he was walking towards me, so quickly stopped him & asked for a photo, which he said no problem to:

Then later on we’re stood at the bar and I said to my friend Natalie “I swear that guy stood there is Gary”. :thinking: From the back I could tell straight away, just from the clothes&hat he was wearing.

About 5mins later he turned around and caught my eye looking at him, and I said “Woah! Gary!” :D and he was like “Hey! How are you!?” and we chatted for a bit. He’s so fucking lovely, just he nicest, friendliest guy. He said to me “Ooh I love this!” and touched my necklace, so I said thanks and that I loved his style. He said “Oh don’t tell the other guys that! They hate the way I dress!” So I said they had no taste :P , lmfao.

Then I said I was totally hyped about seeing them at Brixton, and he asked which date I was going to so I said both and then Oxford too. He was like “Oh god, by the last gig you’ll be going ‘Hmm, they played this better last time, this is crap!’” which cracked me up. I said “Nah you guys just get better&better, seriously I cant wait to see you again!” or something like that. Chatted for a bit about other stuff, then introduced my friend Andy to him (who was a big Libs fan so was totally stoked) and then got a pic taken with him:

Then it started to empty quite quickly so they decided to shut the place early, and the security asked us to all move outside.

On the way out everyone had left so me&my friends had another quick chat with Didz, I shook his hand and thanked him for a wicked night he was like “see you at brixton!” and I was like “wooo yeah!!!” :dance: lmfaooo.

My friend Andy was totally hammered and asked him to play a gig in our kitchen LMFAOOOOO dont ask :laugh4: (he asked where we live, Didz knows where I live! wooot! LOL) and told him he had a wicked record collection. They had a nice little chat. Fuck, he’s such a lovely guy seriously, just so so nice. OMFG. Then we had to leave.

It was wicked!!! No one was really dancing to it (lmfaooo except this one dude who was pop-locking and shit, on his own on the dancefloor, it was hysterical. me&didz took the piss out of him when I spoke to him later mwuahaha) 'cos it was all quite chilled out funky music, everyone was just sat drinking and enjoying it. He has wicked taste in music, he played some real classics. :cool:
