No, it's just... honestly, this music is the only music I'm interested in... It's really the only place I post in when I come on here, other than the other few threads you see me in. So I post a LOT. I never get to release my energy anywhere else during the day! dani 400 people. lol. in australia artists tour like once every 3/4 years here so theres no concert for even a semi decent band that is less than 10,000...

 

a mate went to the U2 concert on saturday night and they had it at the telstra dome in the city and there were like 40,000 people, which is a massive concert.

 

i reckon that stadium concerts are too big though, they lose their intimacy the band has. in my opinion would be just plain crap...

I was about to say, do you guys have any club like places in Aussie land? I've seriously never heard of a band playing a club around there :\ That sucks, why don't they just make some! I mean.... it's not that hard to do... LMFAO. Put a stage in a bar! That's what they did when I saw them in Boston. omg that was hysterical. lmfao. it was so ghetto LMFAO LMFAO anyways.

yeah there are some bar gigs and stuff, but because of the tour thing the only bar gigs that are played are by aussie bands. touring bands always go to the same concert venues, tour in and tour out.

 

having said that, Jet did do a myspace secret show a couple months back where they played to like 500 people at a club.

Ohh luckily we still got smaller venues where SOME artists play, Though, back to reality, for a band to come here it either have to be MASSIVE and play a stadium or have a slot on a festival, which are always held outdoors anyway. Smaller venues are for local bands as well. There's always exceptions though!
