I've never been to the west coast, despite the fact that I have a lot of family there so I guess it would be nice to have that excuse, right? :wink: I know that they would never wander Floridian territory or anywhere nerby so I had hoped to catch them in NY and surroundings :nice: I just wish that by that time other bands are touring as well, so it can expand this whole trip :)

Quick question - when it was mentioned on the DPT forum that The Good Old Days was played at Liverpool, someone asked if Carl sang 'the pigman line'. Which I guess refers to the 'So lets man the decks and hoist the rigging, because the pig mans found the source' bit.

You guys know how much I love what is now with Shambles, DPT and Yeti but sometimes (like today) I just feel like The Libertines was one of the best thing that ever happened and I just love it and wanna talk about it in that way.

Ok, Stan joined the band to "replace" Peter during the tour during the summer, throughout the festival circuit because HE played Glasto and all that.... one of the things that most upset Peter.... so. How long did he play with them? And where did they play? Anybody got the tour history from that time period? Did he play with them more than once, like... join, leave, then come back? How long before the band officially "split" was this? 2004, right? It was pretty soon after that it happened.... In fact, didn't Stan join and Peter just didn't come back, in the end?

Stan played that summer on festivals but he also played on the american tour (that's where the pictures of him and john are from ;)) and the australian tour. I'm not quite sure if he left and came back, I think Peter came back to do a few dates but looking at the gigs-guide on Spritit of Albion I'd say no and that Stan played with them the last 6 months...

And the Libs broke up at the end of 2004, last gig was December 17th in Paris, and DPT was announced/confirmed as a band September last year... I think Carl posted about it on .org but not quite sure.
