I had a very good day, Steph! And boxing day, well, I don't really know what that is? But it was good? :laugh4: I mean, I know it was today but we didn't put anything in boxes. Mostly took stuff out. :thinking: But yeah, I watched a lot of DVDs and set shit up that I got and started to remodel my room (which is taking a long ass time, I'm going through every NME that I have and cutting 'em all up. Crap, I really don't know how to convert DVDs to an iPod format... I do know how to convert Youtube/Google videos... I think.... I can't remember what the programs are called at the moment, though. My friend taught me how to do it. When she comes online I'll just put what she says on here for ya ;) If you want, that is.

 

But yeah, I've never converted a DVD to my iPod so... :sick: I dunno there... I'm so not technology savvy, usually my brother does things for me :laugh4:

iPods are pretty fuckin' amazing, but freakin' complicated sometimes LMFAO. I'll definately get back to you soon about how you can do it ;) I only know how to do it, and all the stuff on HOW to do it is on my parent's computer where I did the files and stuff, but my friend'll know ;)

Steph, thats exactly how I feel about my sis sometimes :( Except her passion is football, not books. She gets on my nerves all the fucking time when I play DPT or whatever other music. The only bands we have in common is Sigur Ros and Coldplay and when I ramble on another band, she gets so angry. She just wants me to obsess over what she likes..

Steph-I get what you mean. It used to be taht way for me, but then my good friend actually started listening to the same music as me. I mean she's not obsessed or anything, music's never been the be all end all for her like it is for me. But she certainly appreciates it. And now other people are starting to respect me for my photography. I used to get called a groupie all the time by random people, because I go to so many gigs. Especially this past August/September. But I'm not. But when they saw my photography and the fact that I get positive attention for it, it validates it to them, I suppose. So they leave me alone :laugh4: bastards.

I bought the 60gb this past summer, when my U2 special edition died (omg :bigcry: I still miss it). It holds like.. 15,000 songs and 10,000 videos or summat, I have no idea! :laugh4: Just a LOT. I have tons of songs on it, though, I have about 5,000 songs.......... ish. I'm such a music whore. LMFAO.

And really Steph, you should do that.. I have this friend, a really close one that used to just ramble on about herself and never asked how I was and just talked about how shitty her life was etc and one day I just got so sick of it I told her to call me when she was ready to stop complaining and start talking about things. It took her a month to call but it was worth it :smiley: So do it if she keeps on acting like that!

I did that with a few of my friends this summer, after a situation happened. We're talking again, and our friendship is better than it was when we stopped talking. It can be really helpful to just get it all out there, for better or worse.
