Gwyneth & Blythe Praying For Natasha Richardson

 

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her mom Blythe Danner are sending prayers to their showbiz pals Natasha Richardson and Liam Neeson. The pair appeared together last night on the red carpet in New York where they spoke about the tragic accident that has left Richardson fighting for her life. Danner said Richardson reached out to her and Gwyneth when the pair were dealing with the death of her husband Bruce Paltrow:

We'll certainly send out prayers and our thoughts and love. Natasha is a beautiful woman and great actress - she wrote me such a lovely letter when we were under such stress with Bruce. I hope and pray for the best. I just think they are extraordinary talents, wonderful parents and such good people.

The mother and daughter duo were in Manhattan at the Museum of Modern Art last night for the premiere of the fashion documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor. The famed designer also sent his best wishes to Richardson's family, saying "I wish that she's going to recover very, very soon. She's a good friend."

Best friends Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow were reunited on the red carpet in New York City last night. Brought together for a dinner party with Valentino at the Oak Room, in honor of the premiere of The Last Emperor.

 

 

The happy duo were first spied air kissing during arrivals, where they notably shared the same red string Kabbalah bracelets, before being snapped enjoying an animated conversation with a glass of red wine, post feast.

 

 

Madonna looked particularly happy to be saddled side by side with her former UK gym buddy, laughing and chatting openly in front of the watchful cameras. Photographers were impressed at the singers ability to look just as young as her 36-year-old pal, sizzling in a black wrap dress and Stella McCartney boots.

She looks so beautiful in those pictures! :nice: And not so dangerous skinny anymore like in this pictures a short while ago, does she? And the bruises are gone too.

Anyway, I can't stop staring at her. :lol: And in those pictures with Madonna she reminds me of Chris. She looks like she really, really cares for Madonna and pays a hundred percent attention to her when she speaks. Not kind of a Chris-Jonny friendship maybe, but it seems to be pretty deep though.

Ah, that just made me happy.

Designer Valantino Garavani gave his closest friends access to some of his label's most incredible dresses for the premiere of the documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor in New York City. "I've had a few post-Oscar burgers, so I didn't fit into any of the vintage pieces," sighed Anne Hathaway, who looked svelte in a jersey one-shoulder dress (paired with Cartier diamonds). Gwyneth Paltrow joked that her old friend gave her full service styling. "My Valentino did my hair, he does a mean blow dry," the actress quipped at a post-screening dinner at the Plaza Hotel's famed Oak Room, where Claire Danes and Madonna also joined in on the fun.

She suffered brain injury in a freak accident skiing in Montreal and has since been taken to an NYC hospital from Canada... She's in critical condition and on life support- as i've read on the news. :(
