The Oscar winning mama to two, Apple, 4, and Moses, 2, had a harried experience with her lil man prior to the premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor. The glamorous actress chatted about the incident. A People report said:

 

“It was hectic getting ready. We just flew in yesterday for this. And my kids are really jetlagged. And my son had a meltdown. But we got out the door,” although not without a struggle. “He was very upset by these hair clips they put in to keep your hair back when you’re getting your makeup done,” she explained. “He hated them. He was livid. But I’m here. I made it.” So did Moses have an opinion about the dress? “He did not like it,” said Paltrow. “He’s very specific. My daughter really liked it. She also chose my nail polish color.”

 

It seems like Moses, who will be three in a couple of weeks, already has definite opinions on things.

Katy Brand has revealed that she plans to satirise Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

 

The comedienne told thelondonpaper at the Royal Television Society awards that she thinks the couple are ripe for parody.

 

Brand said: "You only have to look at her website to know what I dislike about her. I mean, it's very simple to find the solution to motherhood problems if you have 15 nannies.

 

"I hope she keeps it going because it will give me lots of material. I think I'll be Chris Martin - he's made almost entirely of hummus."

 

Last month, Paltrow insisted that people who criticise her Goop website "don't really get it".

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she feels "mother guilt" when her Hollywood career affects her children.

 

Talking this morning to GMTV’s Andrew Castle, the actress admitted moving to America to film Iron Man 2 will be tough.

 

On leaving London for LA, Gwyneth said: “That’s hard, and I feel – I’m feeling mother guilt because my daughter’s looking forward to going, but my son always says, ‘I don’t want to leave my London house’ - and I feel pretty guilty about that… I just try to say, ‘Well, but we’re going to swim and it’ll be sunny.’ I try to point out the positives.”

Asked whether international stardom and parenthood works well together, Gwyneth said:

 

“I barely ever do films – I’m with them almost all the time. But in a way it makes the transition harder. I feel like if I worked all the time, then they would be used to it. But when I’m always there, and I’m always doing school runs and I’m always around – and then I just disappear for 14 hours a day to film – it’s hard.”

 

Gwynnie has two children with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - Moses and Apple.

 

She's currently promoting her latest movie Two Lovers, in which she stars with Joaquin Phoenix.

No, it's just that she's got her facts wrong. A good parody is the French and Saunders skit from a few years back. It wasn't done in the hopes of having the audience think that Gwyneth and Chris are prententious wankers, it was quite nice actually. This Katy Brand sounds like she'd doing it because she has some sort of vendetta against them.
