Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have a new issue in the marriage - the actress' new vanity project, Goop.

 

The Running with Scissors star launched Goop, a lifestyle website, in September last year.

 

But Coldplay rocker Chris is said to be against the venture - as it brings the couple extra, unnecessary attention.

 

A source tells British magazine Now, "Goop's causing incredible friction between Gwyneth and Chris.

 

"He hates any exposure outside of what he considers necessary - his music, charity work and her acting. He thinks Goop's self-indulgent and hates the speculation that the advice she gives on relationships or family problems may be an insight to their own personal life."

 

The source continues, "Gwyneth doesn't want to come across as a hypocrite.

 

"She knows people will think that advice she's put on the site is a reflection of what's happening in her own life, but if she distances herself from those assumptions, people wouldn't buy into Goop.

 

"She's defensive about it. It's her baby and she won't be told what to do.

 

"Gwyneth wants to be the new Martha Stewart. She wants to launch her own homeware range, a fashion line, a food range and self-help books. Chris argued that this will put her even more on the radar, but she's a determined woman."

Well I don't believe any of it, is a silly story. Was just illustrating that the marriage rumours were gonna start up again. :D

If any of this is true i think this can be the thing that causes the end.

I agree. I've said it before, but when people who have always worn their rings take them off, its generally not a good sign. She works out in hers and I cant recall seeing her without them before.:thinking:

But I don't want to put much thought into it, or pay much attention to the rummors 'cause i really like them as a couple.......

Yeah, it's taken us all these years to aprove of her and come to terms with the fact that we'll never be with Chris :laugh3:. It'd take us a hell of a lot of time to approve of some other woman up at this point!

 

Same with her, and they make a very good couple, even though we don't really know what goes on behind the curtains.

i think that the situation is clear at this point...it's sad for the kids. all this months of speculation, peolpe try to defende the marriage but it was only a strategy i think. lit's the same situation of madonna.

Well, if you want my opinion, in that last photo of her(as well as other photos of her at times), she looks really old!! She looks like she is in her 50s, instead of in her 30s!! its obvious that all her weird eating habits and her extensive working outs are making her look very unhealthy and to some extent as well, I think shes looking positively anorexic!!!! Right now I am in the middle of watching her series Spain On The Road Again and I notice that shes a very finnicky eater even though that chef shes with has said that she eats like a horse!!! Shes probably doing all this to keep herself looking attractive so that Chris wont be tempted into straying but its making her look very ill!!

She is far too thin, yes. It could be stress I guess. But she's unhealthily obsessive about it. :\

obviously these aren't good signs, but i refuse to believe anything for sure either way. while the whole wedding ring thing is a big sign, i think we're looking into them too much. it is weird that they both usually wore then amd suddenly they're gone, but i know several couples who wore the rings pretty religiously for years but then just got a bit more lax about it and forgot to wear it some days, or just didn't bother to put it on when they weren't really going out. gwyneth looks pretty casual in the picture from today, so i would say that it's just as likely that she didn't bother to put it on as it is that they're having marriage problems. the difference with gwyneth and chris is that we see them ALL the time, in their formal and casual moments, so i think we might see them without the rings more than most other couples. that's me being optimistic and totally reaching, though :worried:. it's just that i refuse to believe anything based on just rings: that's what the tabloids do, and i like to think that i'm not a nosey tabloid, but an interested fan :P

I agree, the lack of rings could mean nothing or it could mean everything. The fact the Chris hasn't had his on for like 7 months makes me lean more towards there maybe being problems, despite my resolution to stay neutral :rolleyes:

 

Is hard not to read into things though. I think maybe because she's so close to Madonna and what happened to her and Guy...is easy to makes comparisons. :idea2:

 

But yes, a good fan must remain ungossipy :P :lol:

I dont know what to believe all i know is that if they ever sperate Chris will write some of the best songs!
